Treyvon Dancer Treyvon Dancer 5'10" Frisco | 2024 TX 2024 5’8 Frisco High School
Treyvon is an athletic guard who is lightning quick. He uses his speed to the fullest in transition where he blows by defenders and makes the right reads ahead to facilitate for his teammates. I was very impressed with his ability to use his athleticism on the defensive end as well, he uses his quick feet to stay in front of high-level guards and even picked them up full court to get under their skin at times. I would like to see him work on using his speed to turn the corners hard on pick and rolls and force the defense to collapse on him or take the floater or attack the basket.
Jordan Willis Jordan Willis 5'11" Abilene Cooper | 2024 TX 2024 5’10 Abilene Cooper
Jordan was an impressive guard who was able to knock down shots from all around the arc. He knows how to use angles and beat defenders to a spot. I was impressed with his ability to score in the lane whether it was finishing strong at the rim or getting his floater off. On defense he was a smart on ball defender who seemed to be one step ahead of opponents. He routinely poked the ball free and made life difficult with his positioning.
Xavier Cato Xavier Cato 6'0" | PG South Oak Cliff | 2024 TX 2024 6’0 South Oak Cliff High School
Xavier is a lightning quick guard who knows how to use his pace to dominate the game. He changed speeds and flew down the court in transition. He pushed the ball up the floor hard and generated pressure and kick out opportunities with his tenacity. He displayed confidence from deep three-point range and knocked down plenty of shots around the wing. I would like to see him work on finding his teammates more in the half-court as he begins to draw more of the defense’s attention.
Kyler McLemore Kyler McLemore 5'9" James Bowie | 2024 TX 2024 5’9 James Bowie High School
Kyler is a strong team defender who knows how to slide over and protect the rim or tie up an out-of-control ball-handler in the corner. I was impressed with his fearlessness and ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim. He showed no fear of going up against older and stronger talent and finished with the best of them at the rim. I would like to see him incorporate his jumper more especially from the midrange.
Lafayette Allen Lafayette Allen 5'9" | PG Strake Jesuit | 2024 TX 2024 5’9 Strake Jesuit
Lafayette is an aware point guard who thrives on creating for his team. He is a true leader on the court and led the team on both ends of the floor by being a vocal leader. I liked his ability to drive and kick to his shooters and how he operated the pick and roll. I would like to see him work on his ability to get his own shot off with a live dribble.
