Mason Fuller – 5’10” – PG – Lebanon Trail – Basketball Means More
Fuller is a fast playmaking point guard that seemingly glides across the court, effortlessly creating for himself and others. He stays low to the ground with his dribble, quickly moving his feet and changing directions in the blink of an eye, getting to any spot on the court he desires. He’s a sniper from long range off the dribble and also provides a nice off-ball threat with his movement along the perimeter and accurate catch-and-shoot abilities. He may have a shorter stature but he has no hesitation when attacking the basket, using his speed and tight handle to penetrate the paint, protecting the ball with his body, and finding ways to get the ball up high off the backboard and in the basket or lobbing up accurate floaters. His vision and passing puts even more pressure on the defense than his scoring. He keeps his head up at all times while dribbling around the court and is great at getting the ball to his teammates on the move, leading them to open spots for easy shots. His threat to attack the basket collapses the defense and he finds the open man every time. He has very good patience while letting plays develop, waiting for the right screens to be set and the right cuts to be made and then delivering the ball at the perfect time to the open man to finish the play. He’s an intelligent defender that relies on his quick feet and hands to make impact plays. He understands his strengths and has the IQ to rarely leave the ground on the defensive end, using his body and quick lateral movement to stay in front of his matchup, slides in to take hard charges underneath the basket, or snatches the ball out of midair on passes. Over the summer Fuller put an emphasis on his strength, speed and explosiveness. He mentioned he has “already seen it helping [him] out in [his] on ball defense and finishing in the paint with contact.” He also focused on getting to his spots quicker, approaching his senior season with the mindset of being a consistent three-level scorer while still getting his teammates involved a lot.

Foster has an extremely quick first step and sharp handles. He has incredible downhill speed but can also make hard stops, hit the step back, and then put up a long range shot that he hits with great efficiency and accuracy. His speed and decisive handling helps him get past his primary defenders with ease and he attacks the paint with a certain recklessness but still in full control where he has the awareness to create an efficient play for his team. He has an incredible finishing ability, taking contact and finishing through traffic or contorting his body midair to finish around defenders. If a teammate is open down low, he gets the ball to them every time, attacking the basket as if he’s putting up a layup to draw the defense in, and then dropping the ball to the open man midair with the defense out of position. He has the strength to also deliver passes cross court to the open man on the perimeter as he attacks the basket and has a great feel to deliver beautiful bounce passes through traffic to cutters in open lanes. He is an impressive shot creator, as well, aggressively attacking from the perimeter and pulling off an array of moves to get space to hit a midrange shot or floater. His length and aggressiveness gives him an advantage on the defensive end, with a knack for knocking the ball loose from opposing ball handlers. Foster spent the offseason with a lot of focus on his strength while also improving his perimeter shot.

– 5’10” – PG – Lancaster – Dallas Showtyme
Goodman is a strong and intelligent playmaker that is in full control of his team’s offense. He can score from anywhere on the court, hitting long range shots off balance, on the move, through contact, and he can aggressively attack the basket, finishing in various ways. He has the strength to go right through defenders and has the creativity and skill to get around them and get the layup to fall one way or another. His ball handling is elite and gets anywhere he wants with his speed and clever moves, explosively changing directions and putting pressure on the defense to keep all eyes on him at all times. His vision and passing IQ is very impressive, finding the open man at the most difficult times when the defense seems to have him trapped. He can find the open man across the entire court as the defense surrounds him and he can deliver pinpoint passes as he attacks the paint through traffic. He controls the entire pace of the offense, speeding up or slowing down as he sees fit, dictating where every one should be on offense and creating efficient offense for everyone on the team. His strength and intelligence presents itself on the defensive end, as well. He is great at staying in front of opponents, bodying them up and forcing them into mistakes. He also sacrifices his body, getting into position quickly and taking charges in the paint as the opponent attacks the basket with a full head of steam.
