Pango’s All-East Frosh/Soph 2025 Standouts

<p>The 2025 class has yet to play a varsity basketball game, but that did not stop them from putting on a big show this weekend at Pango's. Here are some of the top freshman standouts from the Pango's All-East Frosh/Soph Camp over the weekend.</p> <p><strong>Danny Carbuccia, 6'0 PG Archbishop Stepinac</strong></p> <p>Carbuccia was one of the top point guards in the camp as he was able to get his spot on the floor with consistency. The 6'0 guard was tough to contain off the bounce and was able to finish nicely around the basket. Carbuccia did more than just attack the basket as he was able to shoot off the bounce and make plays in the lane. He moved his feet exceptionally well on the defensive end and created transition opportunities for his team. Carbuccia's quick first step and good handle is something that will help his stock in a big way this season.</p> <p><strong>Barrett Loer, 6'4 SG St. George's</strong></p> <p>Loer had a strong showing at the camp as he was named to the Cream of the Crop Top 30 game. The 6'4 guard showed off his bounce during warmups with a couple of nice dunks and was trying to throw down some during the game as well. Loer is a good shooter from distance as he has a clean shooting stroke and buried jumpers in bunches when given space. He moved well off the ball and did not force may shots in the half court. Loer is a sharpshooting wing who is a prospect to watch in New England this season.</p> <p><strong>Badara Diakite, 6'10 PF Northwest Catholic</strong></p> <p>Diakite was one of the top forwards at the camp and made a ton of plays over the course of the weekend. The lanky 6'10 forward was one of the top shot-blockers as he swatted numerous shots around the basket. Diakite attacked the rim hard as he finished with several big-time dunks. He showed a bit of a handle on the perimeter and shot a couple of triples during the weekend. Diakite is an intriguing stretch-four prospect who should be a player to watch in the 2025 class.</p> <p><strong>Omari Moore, 6'2 SG Hudson Catholic</strong></p> <p>Moore had a big-time showing in the Top 60 game, capping off a strong overall weekend at Pango's. The 6'2 guard played with confidence as he was able to get to his spot on the floor and get off good shots. Moore attacked the basket with a purpose and finished in a variety of ways around the rim. He knocked down several triples from distance and played tough on-ball defense. Moore is the perfect compliment to <strong>Tahaad Pettiford</strong>, making the Hawks a team to watch in the Garden State.</p> <p><strong>Yancarlos Cueto, 6'4 SG Springfield Commonwealth Academy</strong></p> <p>Cueto was one of the flashiest players at the camp as he wound up with multiple highlight reel plays over the weekend. The 6'4 guard has a tight handle which he used to get into the lane and finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Cueto was able to create separation of the bounce and knocked down several jumpers from distance. He used his length to make plays on the defensive end and made several beautiful passes over the weekend.
