. 5”9. 2024. Deer Park HS
Really good north south player. Super fast guard who always seems to be in control. He is a smaller guard that knows how to use his body to score inside. Has a Curry like scoop shot. Should be in the top group of players vying for Suffolk county player of the year.
Jayden James Jayden James 6'3" | SG Molloy | 2023 State NY . 6”2. 2023. St. Joe by the Sea
Showed he was a relentless player. Played every possession like it was the last play of the game. Quick and crafty to the rim. Really good in transition.
Derek Varlack 5”11. 2022. Half Hollow Hills East HS
Derek’s team was missing a couple of players. Molloy figured out early to converge and stop Derek, was key to victory. They also found out it was not an easy task. Derek weaved his way through their doubles and presses. He showed his coolness and poise In finding ways to create for himself or teammates. Continues to add to his game every time we see him.
Don Colon Lewis 6”5. 2023. Xaverian HS
A big man who uses his body really well. If he gets you on his back in the post he knows how to score. Strong rebounder. But Don is much more then a post player. He is an excellent passer out of the post, and is also capable of hitting the perimeter jumper. We expect a big season from this young man.
Mitchell Wiggan 6”4. 2023. St Edmunds HS (pictured)
An athletic bull going to the rim. In the halfcourt or in transition he is hard to stop from converting inside. A nose for the ball. Tremendous at swooping in off the wing to snag a rebound. Will be a major force in the Chsaa this season.
Jayden James 6”3. 2023. Molloy HS
We first noticed Jaden at the chsaa spring tournament. He is no longer a secret. Long versatile player. Quick and sneaky to the rim. Excellent in transition. As he continue to gain experience the interest will continue to grow. College coaches should not wait to long on him.
R J Neysmith 6”2. 2023 Holy Trinity HS
Strong player to the rim. If he gets you backing up he’s scoring on you. Protects the ball going to the hole. Showed the ability to gain position inside to score or rebound vs bigger players.
Isaiah Shaw Glen 6”4. 2022. Holy Trinity HS
Isaiah was up against a much bigger player but he did not back down. He got position inside and scored on the offensive end and was a rim protector defensively. He was also able to stretch the floor with his ability to step out and hit the perimeter jumper.
John McCabe 6”3 2022. Molloy HS
Earlier this year John made our list for three ball specialist. Well it was on display at the elite showcase. Drainning 4 three pointers in the first half of their first game. John’s, hard to knock off the ball. Has a low strong dribble.
Kyle Jeffereson 5”10. 2022. Deer Park HS
Suffolk county knows Kyle, but at this showcase the city and other leagues found out about him. An athletic guard. Outstanding defender. He is a versatile do everything guard. Showed the ability to shoot the three or get to the rim. Will be a major piece for Deer Park this season and we expect to hear a lot about him.
Danny Marinaccio 6”0. 2022. St Joe by the Sea
Danny displayed his long range game. Hitting multiple threes. He was also very good finishing in transition.
Jeremiah Sejour Jeremiah Sejour 6'11" | PF Nazareth | 2023 State NY . 6”0. 2022. Molloy HS
A nice 2-0 day for Molloy was helped by Chase and his aforementioned teammates. He was very smooth and deliberate with the ball. Drainning threes but also showing a quick step to the hoop.
We will be bringing you more notable players from this event.
