I already mentioned a bunch of 2025 incoming freshman in a previous article, so here are some other 2024-25 standouts.
Here were some of the younger standouts on the day:
Adam Njie Jr Adam Njie Jr 6'3" | PG Cardinal Hayes | 2024 State #197 Nation NY Eduprize (Super Sayins)
A talented guard will create shots for others when the defense collapses on him. He makes extra passes and he can step into a deep-3. He uses ball fakes and gets to the rim. His step back from his dribble is advanced for his age. A natural scorer from all levels.
Zevin Gadson Zevin Gadson 6'2" | SG Akron Buchtel | 2024 State OH AZ Compass Prep (Super Sayins) (Pictured)
A two-way guard will rebound and block shots. He has deep 3pt range and is a plus athlete who can throw it down above the rim easily. He can pull-up from mid-range off the dribble and showed off during stretches.
Preston Lee Preston Lee 6'0" | PG Orange Lutheran | 2024 State CA-S Corona del Sol (AZ Legends)
A defensive stud with strong hands. He is becoming an attacking PG who makes good reads/decisions with the ball. He has the floater game and he can pull-up from mid-range.
Peanut Barnes Peanut Barnes 6'0" | CG Phhoenix Prep | 2024 AZ North Canyon (Super Sayins)
A super quick on quick defensive guard seems to lock up anyone. He uses his length and lateral quickness to his advantage. He has deep 3pt range with a fast trigger plus he has good open court speed and he brings high energy to every game.
Rhys Walcott Rhys Walcott 5'10" | CG Eastmark | 2025 State AZ Eastmark (UH Elite)
A natural scorer who can create a lot of space with his handle and will make contested shots. He is currently best off the catch from the 3pt line and he has a smooth release. A smart player who will make others better.
