The two-day event was hosted at McBride high school with more than 150 prospects from the classes of 2024-2026 in attendance. In this series we’re taking a closer look at the top performers in the “Cream of the Crop” Top 30 game.
Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT , 2024, Juan Diego (UT) – Diallo’s impact was felt heavily on the defensive end of the floor where his interior presence and shot blocking abilities deterred drivers and changed multiple shots around the rim. At 6-feet-9, Diallo is a mobile sophomore with a high motor and good instincts on the defensive end of the floor. He understood how and when to rotate and did a nice job of staying vertical on contest. Offensively, Diallo has some work to do on his footwork, but he has good hands and touch and rim-runs with purpose.
Zoom Diallo, 2024, Elite Prep (WA) – We came away impressed with Diallo’s two-way ability as a hard-nosed defender and productive offensive player. The 6-foot-4 wing overwhelmed smaller ball handlers with his ability to pressure on the perimeter and contain with his lateral speed and strength. Offensively, Diallo did a little bit of everything from slashing to the cup in transition to hitting catch-and-shoot and pull-up three’s to blowing by flat-footed defenders in the half-court setting for paint touches and buckets.
Miles Goodman, 2024, O’Dea (WA) – Goodman was by far the most skilled big man at this event. The 6-foot-9 forward/center showcased a variety of low post moves and finished them off with great touch with either hand. Goodman was most effective on the left block where he turned over his left shoulder for a right-handed baby hook. Goodman also did a nice job of passing out of the post to cutters and open shooters and displayed same face-up shooting ability of his own.
Elzie Harrington, 2025, St. John Bosco (CA) – Harrington has an innate feel for the point guard position that you won’t find in most prospects his age. The 6-foot-5 freshman plays with great pace, court vision and a high basketball IQ. Harrington has great change of speeds and direction which allows him to get by defenders and into the paint where he can put pressure on the defense. Harrington has some good pop in his legs and a lot of defenders were surprised when they saw how well he exploded off the floor for dunks.
Cameron Hiatt, 2025, King’s (WA) – Hiatt wasn’t your typical ball-dominant type of player in a camp setting like this, but he stood out due to his willingness to do the intangible things. The 6-foot-3 freshman wing rebounded the offensive and defensive glass well, pursued 50/50 balls, ran the court and finished transition opportunities at the rim and guarded multiple positions with success.
