Joshua Evans Joshua Evans 6'4" | SF New Albany | 2022 State OH (New Albany)- Evans has an all around solid game that impressed me early on. The 6-foot-4 native of New Albany has good size for a guard and understands how to use the size on the offensive end. Strong frame and goes up after passes. Great shooting mechanics and midrange game. Overall a promising prospect and an unsigned senior at that!
Joshua Guy Joshua Guy 6'5" | SF Heath | 2022 State OH (Heath)- One thing I have to start with in regards to Guy is his unbelievable jumping ability. Right off the bat he threw down an alley-oop in his game. The 6-foot-5 has a good arsenal on the offensive end and overall impressed me with his scoring capabilities. Clearly can jump over guys for rebounds and/or plays above the rim. Part of a senior heavy team at Heath that is going to turn some heads this Winter.
Hayden Nahra Hayden Nahra 6'5" | SF Mayfield | 2022 State OH (Mayfield)- Nahra was a name my colleague Mike Roth mentioned to me near the end of the Expo. I really liked what I saw out of Nahra as he has a ton of athleticism that should make him standout to college coaches. Plays above the rim and really came across as a slasher in the games I watched. Great feel for the game and sees the floor. Hit the roll man in pick-and-roll time and time again.
Stanley Clyne Stanley Clyne 6'3" | SG Tippecanoe | 2023 State OH (Tippecanoe)- Clyne goes to us from my area in Dayton. The 6-foot-3 junior impressed as a solid two-way prospect in the games I watched. Sat down on the defensive end and showed he could defend the perimeter. Athletic on the offensive end and showed confidence doing different things with the ball in his hands. Has an opportunity to see his game evolve when he gets back to Tippecanoe for the upcoming season.
Owen Osborne Owen Osborne 5'11" | PG Buckeye Valley | 2022 State OH (Buckeye Valley)- Osborne really stepped up big in the game I watched at the end of the event Sunday. The 5-foot-10 senior is explosive. Not much more to say. Gets by defenders in minimal moves and finished around the rim. Keeps his head on a swivel and still searches for open guys if he isn’t finishing himself. Part of a Buckeye Valley team that has some upperclassmen hungry to make some noise.
