Byron Nelson | 2022
State
TX
– 6’4″ – SG – Byron Nelson – Texas Titans Basketball Academy
TenEyck is a smooth shooting guard that has a natural feel for the game. He appears to have the ball on a string while dribbling and can pull up from anywhere on the court with a pure and quick jump shot. He has the athleticism to finish strong at the basket, a soft touch to finesse his way to the rim, and a refined post game to back down smaller defenders and put the ball in the basket. He also has the court vision and awareness to move the ball when a teammate is open for a better shot. His wingspan and timing on the defensive end allow him to successfully hold his own against any matchup and he has a knack for chase down blocks.

– 6’3″ – SF – Euless Trinity
Kabanga is an athletic, playmaking wing that shows more excitement when his teammates score than when he scores. He has the strength and handling ability to bully his way to the basket, displaying a strong finishing ability and a solid midrange game off the dribble. He is a more than willing passer with point guard-like court vision and accuracy, hitting teammates on the move and in rhythm. His strength, timing and athleticism give him the upper hand on the defensive end too, coming away with energizing blocks at the rim and clogging driving lanes for opposing slashers. Kabanga is well aware of where his focus needs to be to reach that next level, working on his ball handling skills and expanding his range over the offseason. In his senior season, he also wants to “be more consistent on leading by example,” recently telling Prep Hoops that he wants to “[make] sure not only the team is in check, but it’s gotta start with me first.”
Elijah Powers Elijah Powers 5'9" | PG Arlington Lamar | 2022 State TX – 5’9″ – SG – Arlington Lamar
Powers is an elite 3-point shooter with unlimited range. Catch-and-shoot, off the dribble, off-balance, coming off screens, Powers can hit them all. He displays strong IQ and awareness on the defensive end, as well, positioning himself well to intercept passes and coming away with steals on broken plays. While he embraces his 3-and-D role and he mainly roams the perimeter, he has the ability to finish through contact over larger defenders or hit them with a smooth euro step on the fast break.

Mckinney Boyd | 2022
State
TX
– 6’5″ – SF – McKinney Boyd – Team Trae Young 3SSB 2022
Alexander is an all-around talent that can score from all 3 levels. He’s a strong finisher through contact, an intelligent and willing passer, can knock down perimeter shots off the dribble and off catch-and-shoot attempts, and he can defend multiple positions. His most notable attribute is his ability to rebound and push the pace on offense either through taking it himself with his above-average ball handling or through his accurate full-court passes to open teammates. He’s a relentless rebounder with strong boxouts and good positioning and timing on his jumps. While he may be a wing, he has the ability to run the offense and create for his teammates. He looked to continue to improve upon his playmaking this offseason working on his pace and court vision, and he also put a special emphasis on his defense. Alexander looks at Davion Mitchell as a defensive inspiration, noting that “the way he plays defense is an art”, and he ran several scramble drills this summer, looking to improve his defensive aggression.
Ringo Deng Ringo Deng 6'6" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2022 State TX – 6’6″ – SF – South Grand Prairie
Deng is a slashing wing that shows hustle, grit and determination on both ends of the court. He fights on defense to stay in front of his man and provides help wherever needed. His energy on defense boosts his entire team as he soars in for huge blocks and comes away with aggressive steals. He hustles and sacrifices his body to win 50/50 balls and he positions himself properly for put backs or dump offs from driving teammates. He’s somewhat limited on the offensive end but his relentless energy and effort, IQ, and athleticism allow him to make an impact on both ends of the court whenever he is in the game.

TX
– 6’6″ – SG – Little Elm – BeastUp Basketball
Macaulay is a dangerous offensive threat with the ability to consistently hit from NBA 3-point range. He’s a strong slasher and understands how to use his body to create space and then use his size to finish over defenders. He’s a willing passer and trusts his teammates, utilizing his 3-point threat to draw defenders in and then dish out to the open man. He shows several strengths on the defensive end, as well, with good hands, knocking the ball loose on drives, and quick footwork, staying in front of smaller and quicker guards. Macaulay put a special emphasis on creating for himself and others on offense this offseason, working on his ball handling and his passing, “not only in the half court, but also in transition.” He also understands the importance of being a role model in his senior season, stating he wants to be “a vocal team leader…and hopefully leave an imprint on the younger guys.”

Keller Central | 2022
State
TX
– 6’4″ – SG – Keller Central – Dallas Showtyme
Jones is a premier offensive talent with the ability to score from all levels. He’s a knockdown shooter, a strong and talented finisher, taking contact and scoring at will, and he has an array of moves to create space for himself and get to his spots. He shows high intelligence on both ends of the court and his length and athleticism allow him to be a defensive disruptor, getting blocks and steals without fouling, and positioning himself properly to gather loose balls and create space for his teammates. He’s confident in his skillset and he’s looking to increase his aggressiveness on both ends of the court in his senior season, increasing his strength and improving his ability to create for himself. He spent a lot of time this offseason in the weight room working on his strength and athleticism, and after a successful summer, Jones wants to “keep that [aggressive] mindset, stay in the weight room, keep getting [his] shots up daily, and [he] should have a huge senior season.”

Haltom | 2022
State

– 6’3″ – SG – Haltom – Fort Worth Crush
Carrington is an athletic shot-creator that is a dangerous slasher and can shoot from range. He has solid ball handling skills, can change direction and speeds on a dime, and then explodes to the hoop with a soft finishing touch. He has violent hop steps that can split double teams and create plenty of space for easy layups and utilizes spin move layups to perfection. His handles and length allow him to create just enough space off the dribble and rise up to knock down shots from any distance, and has a more than capable catch-and-shoot. His length and athleticism combined with his explosiveness also give him the upper hand on the defensive end, coming away with several stops against all types of opponents.

– 6’4″ – SG – South Grand Prairie – Southern Assault 3SSB
Bennett is an elite perimeter threat that embraces contact in the paint to finish through fouls, creating a perfect pairing with his aforementioned teammate, Ringo Deng Ringo Deng 6'6" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2022 State TX . He can shoot the 3-ball and create his own shot with the best of them, but what separates him from other 3-point threats is his ability to drive to the basket, muscle his way to the rim, absorb the physical abuse by opposing big men in the paint, and still finish the play. His athleticism, strength and grit make him an above-average defender, as well.
