At these showcases, you expect to see guys making an effort to show what it is that they can do athletically, but in all of these cases there was a fluidity and ease with which they did it that really made them stand out. Take a look!
Hayden Brooks Hayden Brooks 6'1" Davenport | 2022 OK | 6-1 G | Davenport | 2022 | @HaydenB74580677
The player who definitely turned the most heads and had absolutely everyone in the gym talking on Sunday was Hayden Brooks Hayden Brooks 6'1" Davenport | 2022 OK . A very good guard who is quick and extremely athletic, he had eyes on him already for lighting it up from long range with a quick, fluid shot that is just a thing of beauty. He dishes the ball all over the floor with precision and tremendous vision. Hayden has good handles and quickness and is a tenacious defender who popped the ball loose from his man several times in one-on-one match-ups out on the point. He pulled a Lebron-esque move when he chased a player down the court who thought he had an easy dunk and pinned the ball to the backboard as his opponent went up for the “easy” bucket. If this wasn’t enough to prove his next-level athleticism, Brooks had one of the best dunks of the day as he caught his defender flat-footed on the wing, blew by him, and skied for the one-handed jam that had everyone in the surrounding area shouting. The kid is tremendously impressive. Coaches, get out to Davenport for a look. You won’t be disappointed.

Jacobi Sebock Jacobi Sebock 6'5" | SF Midwest City | 2022 State OK | 6-5 G/F | Midwest City | 2022 | @JSebock
Any list of the most explosive athletes from this past weekend absolutely HAS GOT TO include Jacobi. The dude can absolutely fly! I was nervous the entire time that he was going to knock himself out on the backboard, as that is where his head spent most of the time each game. It isn’t just that he can get up there, it is also that he never takes a play off. He wants it and goes hard all game long, so when a shot goes up, you can fully expect to see Sebock come flying in from somewhere for a block or a rebound. He is literally everywhere and when he is on the court, you can’t take your eyes off of him. It seems like that was the case for several college coaches in attendance from the looks of it as well seeing as Jacobi has several new offers as of Sunday. He has the handles of a guard and the strength and footwork of a forward on the block. Sebock is very well-rounded and looks to be able to play pretty much any position on the floor. Definitely one to keep an eye on; it looks like a lot of college coaches already are (deservedly so)!
Vance Raney Vance Raney 6'2" | PG Cashion | 2022 State OK | 6-2 G | Cashion | 2022 | @VanceRaney
One of the quickest players that I saw all day with the ball in his hands also happens to be one of the best shooters in the whole gym. Raney can absolutely fill it up from long range. He is an extremely exciting player to watch as he plays with his heart on his sleeve. He is talkative with his teammates which helps immensely in a situation where the team is thrown together on the spot. Vance looks to be a very smart player and if his grades (4.1 GPA) are any indication of basketball IQ, he is. He is that tremendous combination of a player who has to be respected for his ability to hit from long range which causes the defender to stay close on the perimeter – only to leave themselves vulnerable to his explosive first step; next thing they know he is finishing at the rim and heading back down the court to set up on defense. Already a standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Vance has proven that he can do it at school and showcases, too. College coaches, he checks all of the boxes. It is time to get in touch!
