Back in February Prep Hoops Next attended the McDavid All-American Camp put on by Mike Lee and this weekend Prep Hoops Next is heading down to Dayton, Florida where Mike Lee has brought in a great group to participate in the “Talent Over Hype All-American Camp.”
This camp is going to feature a lot of the top talent in Florida that will bring “high level competition and individual competition in a bracket type format where a champion will be crowned on Sunday evening”, camp director Mike Lee said.
As always Prep Hoops Next will be providing coverage while on site and all next week after the event. As a preview, these are five kids that we will be tracking closely as Lee was able to give us a quick scouting report on some of the top five prospects that will be in Daytona this weekend.
2025 Jamier Jones: “He is just flat out ridiculous, he will probably be in the NBA in a few years. He will be dunking the ball all weekend long, definitely a top kid in the 2025 class.”
2025 Jalen Reece: “He will be one of the top 8th graders this weekend and he actually played up in the EYBL as a 8th grader while playing for E1T1 at the 16U level. He is a really good guard that has good size and is always making the right plays.”
2026 Felipe Quinones: “He has ridiculous size as a 7th grader. He is 6’2 right now and can shoot it, defend, handle and pass. He can do a little bit of everything.”
2027 O’Neal Delancy: “He got MVP at my last tournament as he is really good. He is a really highly skilled guard from the 2027 class. He is going to be a big time scoring guard.”
2028 Ethan Vahl: “5th grade guard out of Illinois that is pretty good. He was at my last camp too and he can flat out play. Look for him to impress this weekend.”
