Amaree Abram Amaree Abram 6'4" | PG Southern California Academy | 2022 CA-S , 2022, Southern California Academy – Abram is smart and crafty left-handed scoring guard who is effective playing out of ball screen action due to his ability to read the floor and change speeds and direction. Abram’s fundamental footwork and ability to create space from his defender allows him to survey the floor and find teammates for open shots.
Isaiah Elohim, 2024, Sierra Canyon – Elohim had a tremendous freshman season at Heritage Christian before transferring to Sierra Canyon this summer. The 6-foot-5 wing/guard has an advanced feel for the game on the offensive end. He can create for himself or teammates off the bounce, moves well without the ball and finds space to score inside or out. Elohim didn’t have his best statistical effort at this event, but there’s no doubt about the level of recruit he is and will be.
Drew Fielder, 2023, Southern California Academy – Fielder did a nice job of starring in his role throughout this event. He didn’t force anything offensively, was efficient when he got his touches and gave good effort on the offensive and defensive glass. Fielder has an intriguing skill-set complete with soft hands, good footwork on the low block and tough out to the three-point line.
Jaxon Kohler Jaxon Kohler 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2022 #49 Nation CA-S , 2022, Southern California Academy – Kohler put forth a dominant weekend, including a jaw-dropping 53-point, 21-rebound effort in the championship game. For those unfamiliar with Kohler’s game, he’s a throwback or traditional style big man with impeccable footwork. He utilizes shot fakes, head and shoulder fakes, ball fakes and any other fake you can think of to keep his defender off balance and get to his finishing spots. Kohler is an adept scorer around the basket with touch with either hand. Kohler finished with weekend shooting 25-for-41 from the field.
Varick Lewis Varick Lewis 6'4" | SG Monterey Trail | 2023 CA-S , 2024, Southern California Academy – The physical and high-flying wing was in his element at this event. Lewis thrives in transition play where he can get downhill and use his speed and athleticism to slash his way to the rim for strong finishes. Lewis scored 13 points in 13 minutes in his first game Saturday and had some very good moments defensively in a loss in the championship game.
