The Big Shots Myrtle Beach Finale was taking place and Prep Hoops decided to take a day of the action in on Saturday. The summer Grassroots season is slowly winding down with kids getting back to school and football starting up in several states. Lets take a look at some of these players from the Palmetto State in this article right here.
Corbin Pack Corbin Pack 6'5" | SF Carolina Forest | 2021 State SC (2021) – Elite Ballers – Carolina Forest HS – Flight 22 Post Grad (Wilmington, NC)
Pack a one-time UMKC commit has decided to a post graduate year with Flight 22 Post Grad in Wilmington, NC. Pack a good sized 2-3 man has a quick shot release and some deep range on his shot. Pack was donning another uniform this summer playing with the Elite Ballers here at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center.
Tre Gasque Tre Gasque 6'3" | PG Andrews | 2022 State NC (2021) – Elite Ballers – New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC)
Gasque has been a bit of a journeyman this summer playing with several teams. Gasque played this past season across the border in the Hoop State. Gasque a wiry athletic guard originally hails from Andrews, SC out in Georgetown County. Tre had played his whole high school career at Andrews HS before this past season. Tre should be a half-time entertainment show with his athleticism at times. Gasque is still available for this coming school year and looks to be entertaining the junior college route.
Mikah Nelson Mikah Nelson 6'5" | SF Carolina Forest | 2022 State SC (2022) – Elite Ballers – Carolina Forest HS (pictured on front)
Nelson has really filled out and looks like he has hit the weight room along the way this summer. Mikah does his best work around the basket and seems to be the most efficient right 2-4 feet inside the paint. Mikah will be a instrumental part of the Panthers team this coming season. Nelson really looks to clean up on the glass and does a good job of getting put-backs on the glass.
