Alabama Evals: Class 4A Area 1 Underrated Players To Watch

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Class 4A Area 1 is filled with talent across the board heading into the 2021-22 basketball season. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">The schools in Area 1 are Escambia County, W.S Neal, St. Michael Catholic, Vigor and Williamson. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="966162" first="Sheldon" last="Williams"]</strong> | 6-6 F | Escambia County</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Williams is a solid forward with great size and an even better shooting form. He can get into the paint and posterize defenders at the rim with his great leaping ability. Williams can shoot from anywhere on the court and is a solid defender on defense, especially in the post. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Dejon McCants</strong> | 5-10 G | W.S Neal</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">McCants is a terrific guard that can score from anywhere on the court. He can elevate at the rim and is a great shooter. He excels at hitting open shots and getting turnovers on defense. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>William Ford</strong> | 5-10 PG, SG | St Michael Catholic</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Ford is a standout combo guard that can do it all. He can get easy assists but knows when to take the open shot. Near the rim, Ford makes great decisions and is a solid lockdown defender. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Kristopher Agee</strong> | 6-1 | Vigor</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Agee is a standout player in Class 4A. He can elevate at the rim and is lethal from beyond the arc. With the ball in his hands, Agee can take over the game at any moment and be a great floor general. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Anthony Johnson</strong> | 6-3 SF | Williamson</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Johnson has great size and can defend well in the post. On offense, he is great at running the pick and roll and setting screens on the perimeter. In terms of shooting, Johnson has a great shot selection and can get to the glass. </span></p>
