Five 2023 Players to Watch this Summer

Here is a rundown of five names who should be on your watch list. </p> <p><strong>Donovan Bass | 6’0" PG | NOVA Cavaliers/West Potomac (VA)</strong></p> <p>Bass has been in good form with both his high school and club team this summer. He is built like a tank and plays with an engine that doesn’t stop running. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1114027" first="Aidan" last="Harris"] | 6’5" SF | DMV Stags/St. Mary’s (MD)</strong></p> <p>Harris has quickly established a reputation as one of the more difficult guys to match up within the region. His combination of size, skill, and toughness is a nightmare to contend with. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="957050" first="James" last="Lerner"] | 5’11" PG | District BC/Maret (DC)</strong></p> <p>Lerner played well at DC Live. He is a very good table-setter who shoots the ball exceptionally well. He thoroughly impressed against Riverdale Baptist. Perkins hit multiple threes in that game. He was also very vigilant defensively. Perkins has been playing at a very high level throughout the entire summer though. If you check the <a href="https://capitolhoopssummerleague.com/stats/league-leaders/">stats leaderboard</a> from the Capitol Hoops Summer League, you’ll see that Perkins is in the top five scorers and rebounders.</p>
