Continue ReadingSandwiched between the southern Idaho metropolitan area and Yellowstone National Park on the Idaho/Montana/Wyoming border, the 1A DI Snake River Conference is home to some great players and lovely flowing hills full of agriculture and antelope. This conference is known for for producing a lot of quality basketball programs who seem to experience loads of success each March at the state tournament. The Snake River Conference shows that great players can come from anywhere in the state and from any size classification or division. Corbin Bedke Corbin Bedke 6'1" | SF Oakley | 2021 State ID , Oakley: Corbin earned conference player of the year honors this past season as he led Oakley to a lot of success and a great season. Bedke was a walking double-double during this past season and averaged nearly 16 points per game. Corbin can shoot from outside well and really thrives around the rim where he finishes effectively with both hands and through contact. Bedke is also a great rim protector and rebounder who can also get out and run in transition.
Ryan Spaeth, Raft River: Spaeth is a big body and a tough cover for the majority of teams that Raft River played during this past season. Ryan bullies his way to the basket where he can finish through contact with ease before knocking down free throws to add on some free points. Spaeth is a great rebounder on both ends of the floor and he amassed a lot of double-doubles during his time at Raft River. Spaeth has a great feeling for the game and always plays at a really high level.
Clay Silva Clay Silva 5'10" | SG Lighthouse Christian | 2022 State ID , Lighthouse Christian: Silva had a great year for Lighthouse Christian and will look to help his team even more during his senior campaign next season. Silva can shoot the ball from anywhere inside the gym and he has the mentality of a great catch and shoot shooter. Silva is an offensive spark plug for Lighthouse Christian who can score at a really high level in any game. Clay also impacts the game on the defensive end as he loves to fly around and force turnovers or grab steals.
