The Mid-Atlantic Independent School Team Camp at Blair was one of those events with numerous coaches checking out talented prospects, who did not disappoint. Here are some of the top stock-risers from the Mid-Atlantic Independent Team Camp.
Otega Oweh Otega Oweh 6'4" | SG Blair Academy | 2022 State #91 Nation NJ , 6’4 SG Blair Academy 2022
Oweh had a strong weekend as he made plays all over the floor. The 6’4 guard finished above the rim with authority and was unafraid of taking it to the basket. Oweh was knocking down triples from distance as he shot the ball with distance and has a nice release. He moved his feet well on the defensive end and dove on the floor for loose balls. Oweh’s ability to impact the game on both ends should keep his stock going up as the summer progresses.
Dominick Barlow, 6’9 SF/PF St. Benedict’s Prep 2022
Barlow had a breakout weekend at Blair as he showed off his versatile skillset. The 6’9 forward was comfortable on the perimeter as he brought the ball up the floor at times and was able to beat his defender off the bounce to finish around the rim. Barlow did more than just slash as he hit jumpers from behind the arc and scored in the mid-range. He influenced numerous shots around the rim on defense and attacked the offensive glass as he had a pair of emphatic put-back dunks. Barlow’s stock has been ascending since the spring and it should continue to climb as the live period rolls on.
Tommy Haugh, 6’8 SF/PF Perkiomen 2023
Haugh had a big showing over the weekend as he was able to show off his all-around game. The 6’8 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. Haugh ran the floor hard and made good passes throughout the course of the weekend. He skied for rebounded and showed the ability to switch onto guards in the pick-and-roll. Haugh saw his stock go up in a big way this weekend and should only go up with more performances like that.
Jacob Theodosiou, 6’3 PG Western Reserve Academy 2024
Theodosiou may have been one of the younger prospects there, but that did not stop him from making an impact on the floor. The 6’3 lead guard played with composure on the ball as his opponents struggled to speed him up in the half court. Theodosiou has a clean release on his jumper and shot the ball with confidence from distance. He did not make a ton of poor decisions with the ball in his hands and looked to set his teammates up in good positions. Theodosiou is a poised floor general who will only get better over time.
Jacob Cummiskey Jacob Cummiskey 6'3" | CG Central Bucks East | 2024 State PA , 6’3 PG George School 2023
Bliss made an impact almost every time he was on the floor for the George School. The 6’3 guard was at his best going downhill as he finished around the basket and drew contact consistently. Bliss has a good handle as his defender had trouble keeping him out of the lane. He moved his feet well on the defensive end as he got several steals over the course of the weekend. Bliss should continue to be an intriguing prospect to watch for the George School with his ability to get into the paint and finish.
