2023 Under the Radar Wings Set for Big Summers

<p>The summer season is key for the class of 2023 as college head coaches will be able to interact directly with players soon. The wing class is filled with under the radar talents who are ready to burst onto the scene this summer. Here are the top under the radar wings set for big summers in the 2023 class.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1052300" first="Charles" last="Nelle"], 6’6 SF Olympus Prep</strong></p> <p>Nelle had a standout sophomore campaign and is ready to roll over his success into the summer. The 6’6 forward has a strong frame which he uses to draw contact around the basket. Nelle is capable of knocking down open jumpers and makes good passes in the half court. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Nelle’s ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor is something that will help improve his stock throughout the summer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="609754" first="Darrius" last="Phillips"], 6’7 SF Seton Hall Prep</strong></p> <p>Phillips has been playing well for the NJ Panthers so far this spring and is a breakout candidate this summer. The 6’7 forward knows how to get position down low and uses his strength to get shots up through contact. Phillips can also step outside the arc and knock down jumpers with his nice release. He is a strong rebounder and has the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor. Phillips is a skilled, combo forward who should turn heads during the summer months.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1150464" first="Mirko" last="Bramati"], 6’7 SF Paul VI</strong></p> <p>Bramati is the perfect fit on the wing for South Jersey Hoops Elite, which should lead to a big summer. The 6’7 wing has a good handle as he is capable of beating his defender off the bounce and getting to the rim. Bramati is more than just a driver as he has a nice shooting form and his range extends past the three-point line. He is an underrated rebounder and moves his feet on the defensive end. Bramati’s ability to put the ball on the floor is something that will help him out as the summer rolls on.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902743" first="Quatrell" last="Wilson"], 6’5 SG/SF Newark East Side</strong></p> <p>Wilson is one of the more under the radar prospects in Essex County, but that could change at the end of the summer. The 6’5 wing attacks the basket with a purpose and is a good finisher around the rim. Wilson moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated passer. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Wilson’s ability to make plays on both ends of the floor is something that will help his game this summer.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1150536" first="Davontay" last="Hutson"], 6’2 SG Trenton</strong></p> <p>Hutson had a breakout 2021 season for the Tornadoes and is looking to continue his strong play with Team Final Black this summer. The 6’2 wing attacks the basket strong and is unafraid of drawing contact. Hutson can hit open jumpers on the perimeter and is an underrated passer. He is one of the top rebounding guards in the class and is extremely active on the defensive end.
