2023 Rankings Breakdown: DC Area Stock Risers

<p>Prep Hoops Maryland recently updated its class of <a href="https://prephoops.com/maryland/rankings/2023-rankings/"><strong>2023 prospect rankings</strong></a>, and now it's time to take a closer look. Here is a rundown of some of the stock risers featured in this recent update.</p> <p><strong>#12 | [player_tooltip player_id="957041" first="Thomas" last="Batties II"] | Previous Rank: #22</strong></p> <p>Batties has a well-rounded game. He knows how to play hard and is becoming consistently productive as a result. </p> <p><strong>#19 | [player_tooltip player_id="1049870" first="Jayden" last="Ross"] | Previous Rank: #38</strong></p> <p>Ross has improved considerably since before the pandemic. He is still just scratching the surface, but the signs we've seen from him in recent weeks are encouraging. </p> <p><strong>#27 | [player_tooltip player_id="957045" first="Rieco" last="Hellams"] | Previous Rank: #54</strong></p> <p>Hellams is a reliable point guard who makes a difference on both ends of the floor. He was very solid during AAU with the District. Roberton is the type of player who will run through a wall to get a win.</p>
