Continue ReadingDallas was the place to be this weekend as the top teams in the country made their way to the lone star state to play some big boy ball. The teams that made it out was a loaded group. Teams like the Nightrydas EYBL, Drive Nation EYBL, SOH Elite, 3D Empire, Southern Assault, Dream Vision, Utah Prospects and team Griffin to name a few of the loaded lineup.
Hansel Emmanuel | SOH Elite UAA | Florida |
When you Hansel go viral because of his spectacular play and the fact that he only has one arm is a thing of beauty and inspiration. Seeing it happen in person is indescribable. Hansel has Division 1 talent and it’s hard to explain how but he does. He can get shots off and he can make tough passes but the kid can just flat out play. Hansel took his long frame and quick first step on the left wing and mad a quick move and took a quick few dribble and got in the lane cupped the ball and elevated above a fully stretched out 7’0 defender and his thunderous dunk shook the gym as it exploded with screams and kids and adults going crazy as they witnessed an amazing viral moment in person. Emmanuel can flat out fly!
Anthony Black Anthony Black 6'7" | PG Duncanville | 2022 State #10 Nation TX | 3D Empire | Independent | Texas |
People who know, know exactly who Anthony Black Anthony Black 6'7" | PG Duncanville | 2022 State #10 Nation TX is and he is one of the most talented players in the 2022 class. At 6’7 running the PG position, yet willing to take on anyone defensively. I do not care what any ranking says, this kid is Top 25 hands down. 3D Empire led by Black is a veteran squad that does not get rattled. Black will guard anyone and he will go up and try to throw it down on anyone as well. Black had a monster poster against Dream Vision of a slight hesi that freed him up. He is one of the best players that can help his team win without scoring. The kid can step on any campus and possible play right away. If you haven’t offered you better put your name in the mix.
Jaxon Kohler Jaxon Kohler 6'9" | PF Southern California Academy | 2022 #49 Nation CA-S | Utah Prospects Adidas 3SSB | Utah |
Win or lose this big fella will not be stopped. He is a double-double machine against any big in the country. Played against Elite big men all weekend long and teams had no answer as they had to double and triple team him. Dominated kids with offers from all over the country including the likes of Arizona, Kansas, Texas and more. You could hear people in the crowd in awe of his various moves to get buckets. Passed the ball extremely well and he had some great defensive stops. With scheduled visits coming up Kohler is going to be an elite big to go after as he showed everything, he can do including hitting the long ball.
Bryce Griggs Bryce Griggs 6'3" | PG Overtime Elite | 2022 TX | JL3 EYBL |
Bryce has some super wiggle. The kid is an elite creator as he can hit them from the NBA range but get in the lane with quickness and strength. Very impressed with his ability to pass from distance yet put the ball right on the money. He can finish with precision going to both sides of the floor with speed but he is a man child going left. He’s got a big strong body that just makes it difficult for defenders to body him up. Explosive laterally and he is a quick jumper.
Jazian Gortman | Nightrydas EYBL | Florida |
Talk about explosive and when this kid gets downhill it’s over. Jazian can absolutely fly! I mean he is only 6’2 but he is out there looking and playing a lot taller. His mid-range is great and he can really finish with a lot of touch around the rim. He is just an elite talent at all 3 levels.
