The chatters is that some of the numbers have been inflated as not everyone is out there defending but either way it’s a great event that allows our young prospects to play some basketball.
Here is a short list of players that were out there increasing their stock.
6’11 F Preston Squire Preston Squire 6'11" | PF Layton | 2021 State UT | Layton High School | 2021 |
Preston is out there trying to pull a few more scholarship offers. He has a few D1 offers under his belt. Preston is one of the best unsigned seniors left on the board in the 2021 class that could land on a Division 1 team. He stretches the ball well for a big. rebounds and he is a shot altering big. Played some great series and sequences at Pangos.
6’0 PG Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT | Cyprus High School | 2023 |
Quentin is a scorer. It is very transparent that this kid has a high motor and he can score at every level and he can score off balance, off of the bounce and in spot up situations. He has developed a nice floater this Spring, but like we said before Quentin can score. He moves well without the ball and he is a wizard at using angles as well.
6’0 PG Hunter Schenk | Weber High School | 2024 |
Hunter made some onlookers remember his name as he exploded in the first few games in the league and it caught everyone’s attention. Hunter can shoot and he is athletic and shifty. He started to get the best of everyone later in the league but that is okay, that means people are paying attention and this might have sparked the Weber High prospect and this could be a dynamic back court moving forward with him and Devries.
6’3 PG Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT | Davis High School | 2022 |
Rex is out there as a leader regardless who he is playing with. He scores, defends and rebounds. He is great at finding players open and he might have racked up more assist than people give him credit for in the league. Rex has gotten stronger, faster and he is more athletic.
6’4 G Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT | Murray High School | 2023 |
Chudi is another player we have seen play since before he was in high school and his sense of urgency has really changed. Like his slashing ability and he is overall skill. He does it all on the floor when he wants.
6’6 W Henry Ihrig | Davis High School | 2022 |
Talk about a sleeper prospect that has been putting together a great Spring overall. Henry is another player that does it all. His recruitment can really take off at the right platform. D2’s should be all over him.
