Colby McAllister Colby McAllister 6'4" | NA lbs | CG Spanish Fort | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’4 SG, Spanish Fort ℅ 2022: McAllister has come off a very successful season by helping his team make the 7A state championship. He plays with nonstop intensity and hustle. McAllister has a great catch-and-shoot from the three, one of the best-focused shooters in his class. He attacks the rim aggressively and under control for a clean finish; if given a chance, McAllister can be very explosive with his leaping ability. He plays in-your-face defense and constantly moves his hands, looking to force a turnover. Be sure to look out for McAllister this travel season.
Reese Gurner Reese Gurner 6'1" | NA lbs | PG Vestavia Hills | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’1 Guard, Vestavia Hills ℅ 2022: Gurner is a two-way guard that can provide a lot of versatility on the court. He is a player that can score, rebound, and play defense. Offensively, Gurner is swift when attacking the basket and finishing with contact. His elite shooting from the three makes him difficult to defend. On defense, he is an absolute pest; he rattles the ball handlers causing multiple turnovers. Gurner is playing with Pro-One this travel season.
John Broom John Broom 6'5" | SG Jacksonville | 2023 State AL , 6’5 PG/SG, Jacksonville High ℅ 2023: During the regular season, Broom averaged 16pts, 5rbs, and 3asts. He is a slasher attacking the lane and has no hesitation in rising over a defender for a basket. Broom has the skills of a floor general and can also takeover with the scoring if needed. He can break down any defender with his quick crossover, drawing in the defense giving his teammates open looks with his quick passes. Broom has an elite jump shot and can shoot off the dribble. Most recently, Broom has received offers from Mississippi State and Alabama State, look for Broom to raise his stock even higher over the summer. Broom will play with Alabama Fusion this travel season.
Jalen Jones Jalen Jones 6'2" | CG Ramsay | 2023 State AL , 6’1 SG, Holt High ℅ 2022: Jones is a two-way guard that loves the three; he will not hesitate to pull up in a defender’s face. With shooting being his best attribute, Jones can also put the ball on the floor and attack the lane. He is speedy on the fast-break and can finish over defenders. Jones makes smart decisions with the ball, and his smooth passing puts his teammates in great positions to score. Jones will play for the Bama Celtics this travel season.
Reed Trapp Reed Trapp 6'5" | NA lbs | SF Covenant Christian | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’5 Guard, Covenant Christian ℅ 2022: Trapp is an athletic wing playing for Alabama Generals. The first impression of Trapp is that he is a great shooter around the perimeter, but his game is much more versatile than most. He drives the lane with intensity and can finish strong at the rim with contact. On the defensive end, Trapp has good shot-blocking ability and can force turnovers with his aggressive defense. He is a player that will catch some eyes this travel season.
