Brandon McCreesh, G, Hotchkiss School/Riverside Hawks 16U – He stays attached to the ball and competes on the defensive end at a high level. He used he size to be an effective perimeter presence throughout the game.
Dante Green, CG, Upper Room Christian/NY Rens 15U – Dante utilized his athleticism to make an impact on the defensive end. He collected steals on the ball and had an impressive chase-down block. He came out and set the tone for the team to open the weekend.
Edwin Daniel Linares Edwin Daniel Linares 6'8" | PF Putnam Scienece | 2023 NLG , F, Putnam Science/PSA Cardinals 16U – Edwin controlled the paint contesting a number of shots. He has strong help-side shot blocking instincts as a active interior defender.
Fray Nguimbi, F, First Love Christian Academy/NY Jayhawks 17U – Fray is an active defender who has the size, length, and quickness to defend multiple positions. He was one of the few prospects with the ability to switch pick and roll situations maintaining ball handlers.
Jake Hsu, PG, Germantown Academy/NY Rens 17U – Jake was an underrated defensive spark off the bench. He turns the ball handlers and simply makes the game uncomfortable for opponents. He’s a hard nose prospect who has bought into his role with the team.
James Moore, F, The Patrick School/NY Rens 15U – James used his wiry frame and versatility to block/change shots and collect steals anticipating passing lanes. He moves well laterally and has the potential to defend 1-5.
Jayden Williams, PG, Blair Academy/PSA Cardinals 15U – Jayden’s presence changed the defensive charge in the game. He has a good combination of speed, quickness, and defensive instincts which he used to anticipate passing lanes.
Markell Alston, PG, Christ the King/ NY Gauchos 16U – Markell is a competitive two-way player who anticipated his opponent’s every move. He’s an underrated on-ball defender which is overshadowed by his offensive abilities.
Muazibini Jabal Adamu, C, First Love Christian Academy/NY Jayhawks 16U – Adamu is a shot blocker with long arms, mobility, and defensive awareness. He has great timing and outstanding help defense instincts.
Pape Fall, F, Bridgeport Prep/ NY Gauchos 16U – A long wiry energetic prospect with defensive upside. He used his length and athleticism to have an eye-catching chase-down block.
Prophet Fields, PG, Nazareth HS/ NY Gauchos 16U – An outstanding team defender. He read the perimeter well throughout the weekend and collected a number of steals while causing deflections.
Ryan Dunn, W, LuHi/NY Jayhawks 17U – Versatile defender with a good combination of length and athleticism. He competes from start to finish and has the ability to defend multiple positions.
