Zaire Baines 6”0 2022. Portledge HS
A flat-out scorer of the ball. Shoots the three consistently. Drives the ball aggressively. Uses his body to score in a variety of ways. Excellent chase down defender. A hard-working scholarship-type player.

6”7. 2022. Cardinal Hayes HS
Excellent student on the court. 4.0 in the classroom. Excellent touch and rotation on his jump shot. Strong rebounder. Ivy, Patriot, and low to mid-majors have interest. Can not wait to see him play next year in a full high school season. Major upside.

. 6”1. 2022. St Francis. Prep HS ( pictured)
Smooth player. Great elevation on his shot. Extremely explosive getting into the lane. Physical player finishes through contact. Big time talent. Schools should get in on him earlier than later.
Thomas Keane 5”11. 2022. St. Peters HS
The best thing about these events is the players who show off their skill and then get recognized. Thomas was that player on this weekend. Comes from a good basketball family tree. High basketball IQ. Tremendous court vision. He displayed his three-ball capability. Has unlimited range. Played both guard spots well. A hidden gem over the weekend.
Nickx Watts Nickx Watts 6'7" | PF Northport | 2022 NY . 6”7. 2022. Northport HS
Another hidden gem to parts of the city, but Long Island knew all about this player. Mixes it up on the inside. Can step out and shoot it. Excellent passer out of the post. Good defender in the post but can also guard the perimeter. Which is an important factor in today’s game.
Kedar Davis 6”5. 2022. St Rays HS
Showed high energy and a great motor, Does not take any plays off. Excellent post defender. Displayed good footwork in the post. Gets low and wide when he posts on the block. Also showed he can take his defender off the dribble. He is a glue guy that every program needs.
Tariek Foster 6”6. 2022. Cardinal Hayes HS
Excellent skill set. A nice long frame. An excellent touch from the outside. The ball comes out of his hand with good rotation. Great potential and a high ceiling.
This is a loaded class year. We will bring you more players who excelled at “ March Madness” Island Garden in our next report.
