6’6 Henry Ihrig, Davis High School
This prospect is a 3-4 type player because of his skill out in the perimeter. Henry does really well at handling the ball out beyond the three and his size and IQ making cuts to the baskets makes it tough for bigger players to go out and guard him. When he is defended by a smaller player he does a great job at positioning himself. Henry still has a ceiling to reach but he is skilled. Great passer and he holds his own defensively all while being physical when he is undersized. Would love to just see him play the 3.
6’7 Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT , Bingham High School
Devin grew a lot this year IQ wise as you can see him runthe floor with a purpose. His 15-footers were shot with more confidence and he was able to keep teams off balance. Devin is a great athlete as he is always a threat to sky high and grab a lob or a running dunk. Devin has a solid left hand hook on the right block. Devin’s motor and high level defense got better through the season. Look for him to make a jump next year.
6’6 McCoy Langston McCoy Langston 6'6" | CG Copper Hills | 2022 State UT , Copper Hills High School
McCoy came into the season a bit under the radar but his size and PG playing ability really stood out. He is really effective running the PG position but he is good playing off guard. Often times he had to play the 4 and he could score at that position but he is naturally a guard. McCoy has a quick forst step and he has a few moves at the basket that create seperation taht allows him to get good looks at the basket. Big time threat from deep as well.
6’4 Colby Carter Colby Carter 6'4" | CG Skyridge | 2022 State UT , Skyridge High School
Colby might have not scored a lot of points consistently but he was a big time rebounder. Look fo rhim to increase his scoring production next year and he can really be a double-double problem with his knack for the ball. He plays hard and defends. Colby is a streaky shooter as he can get going and be a problem from deep. He lit up AF for 7 three-balls this year.
6’7 Ammon Kaufusi Ammon Kaufusi 6'6" | SF Highland | 2021 State UT , Highland High School
Ammon is a player that has been underrated as well and he continues to grow. He was once a 6’2 string and now he is a tough 6’7 athlete that can go. His defensive ability really can be a difference making ability moving forward. Look for Ammon to turn his 9 & 4 to a 14 & 7 with his IQ increasing with valuable playing time. Ammon is a sleeper athlete that will have the ability and experience to play right away at the colligiate level.
