South Pointe HS defeated Hilton Head Island 52-50
The Stallions finished the season at (15-5) under former University of South Carolina Gamecock Melvin Watson. The Stallions fought back and won this tight game over the Seahawks to claim its first ever state basketball championship.

River Bluff HS defeated Dorman HS 57-45
The Gators got hot during the playoffs and rattled off 4 road wins. The Gators defeated Fort Dorchester HS, Carolina Forest HS, Dutch Fork HS and Dorman HS to win its first ever state basketball championship. Head Coach Ben Lee collected his 100th career win at the school.
