5A PH Best of the Best

What a wild season in 5A as the #1 team fell but we got to see so many prospects. 5A is loaded with talent and there are so many kids from Utah County all the way to Davis County. 

PH 5A 1st Team

PG: 6’2 Noa Gonsalves Noa Gonsalves 6'2" | PG Lehi | 2021 State UT , Lehi High School

Dixie State will have a player heading their way. Noa is that player that just finds a way to score.

G: 6’6 Jackson Holcombe Jackson Holcombe 6'6" | CG Timpanogos | 2021 State UT , Timpanogos High School

Great prospect with so much potential at the next level. Could play multiple positions. High ceiling.

CG: 6’4 Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT , Farmington High School

D1’s have been all over this kid and you can’t argue with them. Collin has worked on his game and it shows.

W: 6’7 Jake Wahlin Jake Wahlin 6'8" | SF Timpview | 2021 State #150 Nation UT , Timpview High School

BYU will get a big guard when he’s back in 2 years. Jake is going to blossom even more in college. 

SF: 6’9 Jaden Brownell Jaden Brownell 6'8" | SF Alta | 2021 State UT , Alta High School

Jaden is super skilled and he is a bucket from deep. Great stretch 4 at the next level. 

PH 5A 2nd Team

PG: 6’5 Tyson Hawkins Tyson Hawkins 6'4" | PG Lehi | 2021 State UT : Lehi High School

Big PG with vision and grit. Tyson plays hard and he defends with the best of them. 

G: 6’2 Isaac Castagneto, Provo High School

Isaac might be underrated but he can play. Look for an NWAC school to swoop him up and continue to help him improve. 

G: 6’5 James Rust James Rust 6'5" | CG Timpview | 2023 State UT , Timpview High School

The future is bright for this young guard. James’ shooting improved and his IQ overall helped him a bunch. 

PF: 6’5 Robert Whaley Robert Whaley 6'5" | PF Bountiful | 2021 State UT , Boountiful High School

The big fella is a matchup nightmare. Calling him an undersized power forward doesn’t even sound right. Robert will find a way. 

F: 6’9 Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT , Olympus High School

Jack is a LM D1 prospect that has a lot of skill inside and out. Tough to defend.

PH 5A 3rd Team

PG: 6’0 Coleman Ford Coleman Ford 5'10" | PG Timpview | 2021 State UT , Timpview High School

True PG that gets everyone involved and will hurt you if you leave him open. 

G: 6’4 Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT , Murray High School

Athletiv big guard that is a slasher and he’s good at it.

Suoer under the radar. Might have picked up some offers in the title game.

Solid big that knows how to use his body. He has good foot-speed on the blocks.

Big athletic kid that can shoot. His growth has been excellent he has translatable skills for the college level.
