Erik Reynolds Erik Reynolds 6'2" | CG Bullis | 2021 State #197 Nation MD | 6’2 | St. Joseph’s
Reynold has the opportunity to be an all league guard in the Atlantic 10 in my opinion. Reynold should make a difference for the rebuilding program right away as he is super fun to watch when the ball is in his hands. Reynolds has good speed and athleticism to go along with a strong skill set that should make him become a fan favorite right away at St. Joe’s.
Ryan Cornish Ryan Cornish 6'3" | CG Sidwell Friends | 2021 State MD | 6’0 | Dartmouth
As each passing week goes on, Cornish continues to look like a steal for Dartmouth. Cornish is coming off a successful winter league at St. James where he helped lead Sidwell Friends to the championship and ultimately won the entire league.
Brayon Freeman Brayon Freeman 6'1" | CG National Christian | 2021 State #204 Nation MD | 6’1 | George Washington
Freeman was an enormous pickup for Jamion Christian and George Washington. Freeman is great with the ball in his hands where he can make plays for himself and for others and score at a high clip when needed. Freeman is another upcoming freshman in the A10 that should have an important role from day one.
Bez Mbeng Bez Mbeng 6'3" | CG Good Counsel | 2021 State #190 Nation MD | 6’3 | Yale
Yale is getting a two way impact player that can do a lot to help a team win. Yale will most likely rely on Mbeng to guard a lot of the top players they play against as he is an elite on ball defender.
Khyrie Staten Khyrie Staten 6'2" | CG St. Frances | 2021 State MD | 6’2 | Delaware State
Delaware State dove into Baltimore to pick up Staten services who will bring an immediate hard nose playing style to the MEAC program. Don’t be surprised if we look up in a few years and see Staten as an all league performer in the MEAC.
D’Angelo Stines D’Angelo Stines 6'2" | CG Mount St. Joseph | 2021 State MD | 6’2 | Old Dominion
Jeff Jones and ODU are getting a big time shooter that can shoot lights out as he has shown throughout his high school career. The Monarchs are in need of scoring and they are getting it up with Stines.
Byron Ireland Jr. | 6’2 | Undecided
Ireland comes in as the top combo guard that is not committed yet in the local MD/DC 2021 class. He has been having a terrific senior season with St. Frances and is a player that will bring a winning background to a college program.
Nick Marshall Nick Marshall 6'4" | CG River Hill | 2021 State MD | 6’4 | Loyola Maryland
Marshall decided to stay local by giving his pledge to Loyola Maryland who has positive momentum after a very nice run in the Patriot League tournament. Marshall will be a solid piece offensively at the next level for head coach Tavaras Hardy.
AJ Lopez AJ Lopez 6'5" | CG Mt. Zion Prep | 2021 State MD | 6’5 | Undecided
Lopez is another unsigned senior who has good versatility on the offensive end standing at 6’5. He can score in multiple ways and showed that this past season at Mt. Zion Prep. Lopez is always wired to score the basketball and don’t look for that to change as he enters the college ranks.
Will Reynolds Will Reynolds 6'3" | CG DeMatha | 2021 State MD | 6’3 | Undecided
Reynolds would have benefited from a full senior season as much as anyone on this last. Reynold would have been able to show off his athleticism and playmaking abilities in the WCAC which would have really helped his recruitment. Whoever lands Reynolds is going to get a steal and be considered a miss from local schools.
