The 7’3’ foot Bol Kuir Bol Kuir 7'3" | C Belfry | 2022 State KY , a native of South Sudan, moved to WV to begin his high school basketball career in 2019 and is now a staple of the Pirates program and a hot commodity on the recruiting trail.
The Belfry Pirates out of Eastern Kentucky region 15 district 60 coached by Mark Thompson is sure to have a bright future based on their exceptional underclassmen talent. For now, two of these underclassmen are under the radar, but may not be there for long.

2022 C/F 7’3″
Bol Kuir Bol Kuir 7'3" | C Belfry | 2022 State KY is not so much under the radar. He is a known commodity among recruiters based on his tremendous upside. He is a 7 footer that knows how to run the floor. Kuir is an elite rim protector using his length and athleticism which is why many DI coaches and programs are very high on him.
Sal Dean Sal Dean 5'11" | PG Chapmanville | 2023 WV #0

Sal Dean Sal Dean 5'11" | PG Chapmanville | 2023 WV has a knack for scoring. He is a lefty with a silky smooth, high-level jump shot. He shoots it with range whether on the move or standing still. The sophomore guard has solid & quick no-nonsense handle which allows him to get to his spots on the court. He also possesses an advanced basketball IQ. Sal’s skill set puts him firmly in position to play at the next level.
De"Mahjae Clark #2
2022 G 5’10″
De’Mahjae comes in under the radar, newly transferred to Belfry this season. His freshman year he earned Rookie of The Year honors in the Kanawha Valley, WV while playing PG for Capital High School, where he also excelled in football. Clark is a very quick & athletic guard with great balance. He penetrates and finishes well with both hands and plays with pace. Clark is a great perimeter defender and a prime candidate for rising recruitment.
