5’10 PG Sam Suvulich, Northridge High School
Sam has quietly been pleasantly surprising this year. We knew he had game but he has been a bright spot for Northridge. With three 30+ point games this year and a 36 piece last night Sam is averaging 19 PPG. He is quick and shifty and can get hot from outside. The Class of 2022 PG has a lot of confidence.
6’6 W McCoy Langston McCoy Langston 6'6" | CG Copper Hills | 2022 State UT , Copper Hills
A prospect that is also under the radar that has great size and translatable skill as well. He is a stat stuffer for Copper Hills and what makes him tough is that he can get going from the outside. He had himself a game against herriman scoring 25 points and nailing 4 three-pointers. This could be trouble for other Region 3 teams.
6’6 SF Mason Thueson Mason Thueson 6'4" | CG Roy | 2021 State UT , Roy High School
Mason is not new to the scene but he has been solid and consistent. His consistency might catch people of guard but he is a solid prospect. The kid has been putting up 15 PPG in his last 4-5 outings.
6’2 PG Eric Giang Eric Giang 6'2" | CG Taylorsville | 2021 State UT , Taylorville High School
Eric is leading a Taylorsville team that has been a surprise team in general. Eric has been solid and with a midrange mixed with an outside game. Eric has been tough all year and he has surprised a lot of people with his excellent play.
6’3 SG Amare Ames Amare Ames 6'1" | CG Kearns | 2022 State UT , Kearns High School
Amare has provided Kearns with some much needed shooting. He is helping stretch the floor even when he is not hitting because he is attracting a lot of attention. Could be a big time player come playoff time.
6’5 W Sam Gibby Sam Gibby 6'6" | SF Weber | 2021 State UT , Weber High School
While most expected two of the returning started to be the focal point of most opposing teams, Sam has been another pleasant surprise. He is scoring the basketball and running the floor. He is a tough hard nose type player that can get on the board without plays being run for him.
6’7 SF Parker Larsen, Payson High School
Parker is tucked away in the Southern part of Utah so he is a bit unseen. The kid has nice size and skill. He could be a double-double type player. He has a great motor and he defends. He is a surprise prospect that is way under the radar.
