Tyler Anderson. 6”1. 2022. Smithtown West HS
At 6”1 this player can get up and flush it. Very strong with the ball. A nice pull up game. Also very good at getting into the paint and setting up teammates. Working on improving his shot off the catch.
Michael Agostino. 5”10. 2022. Newfield HS
A true point guard. Son of a coach. Always makes the right decision. Draws the defense and then dishes it off to a teammate for an open look. Very shifty with the ball in his hands. Possesses a nice floater in the lane off the bounce. Has deep range on his shot. Has been spending time in the weight room adding strength.
. 6”6. 2023. Smithtown West HS
Extremely tough on the boards. Can rebound in traffic. Finishes around the rim with either hand. Consistently knocks down the open three. Has tremendous leadership qualities for a young player. Has been working on his ball handling skills.
Ziggy Hoe. 6”1. 2021. Newfield HS
This would be his 5th year on varsity. A player ready to break out this year. Coach felt he could be a 20 point a game player. Extremely athletic. A strong player going to the basket. Good mid-range game. Can play all five positions in high school. Working on becoming a more consistent shooter. Gets better each time you see him. Game has improved and is still evolving even more. Ziggy is a under the radar player who can play at the next level.
Adam Kirschenblatt. 6”2. 2022. Half Hollow Hills East HS
A pure shooter. Can step out and drill it. A zone buster. Looks like a nice player for pick and pop sets. Tremendous rebounder. Working on becoming a little more athletic with his handle and footwork. Great potential and good upside to his game as he gains experience.
Sammy Gerstman. 5”10. 2022 Half Hollow Hills East HS
Fundamentally sound. Real smooth smart player. Knows how to cut, moves without the ball, and finds the open spot on the floor. Excellent passer sees the floor well. Really good hitting cutters with the bounce pass. Plays hard on both ends. Good rebounder for his size. Fearless going to the hoop. Can shoot the three. Working on his mid range game.
