Sekou Gassama Sekou Gassama 6'10" | PF DeSmet | 2021 State #166 Nation MO 6’10 DeSmet: The 2021 forward had a very productive 12-point outing in the Spartans’ 63-34 victory over Lafayette. His moves in the low post were fluid, his footwork was solid and his shooting touch was on point. He is also an excellent rim protector who runs the court well.
Jeremiah Walker Jeremiah Walker 6'2" | CG DeSmet | 2021 State MO 6’2 DeSmet: The 2021 guard put in 11 points in the Spartans victory over Lafayette. He is a versatile scoring threat who puts constant pressure on the defense with his ability to get into the lane. He is creative off the bounce with a very effective spin move in traffic to create a bucket.
Will Lee 6’1 Kirkwood: A high-level football prospect who scored 14 points in the Pioneers’ overtime win over Parkway West. He is an explosive athlete who attacks the basket at every opportunity. He scored the go ahead bucket with a strong take in the closing seconds of overtime. He is also a very good defender.
Ja’Marion Wayne 6’4 Parkway West: A 2022 Mizzou football commit who showcased his overall athleticism with a game-high 15 points in the overtime loss to Kirkwood. He was very effective around the basket with his length and quick second jump on the offensive boards.
Jaylen Phipps Jaylen Phipps 6'1" | SG Kirkwood | 2021 State MO 6’1 Kirkwood: The 2021 guard scored 14 points in the Pioneers overtime victory over Parkway West. He is a slashing wing who did a nice job getting downhill throughout the game. All of his field goals came on slashing takes to the basket.
