Below we take a look at some guys who are balling out right now for their programs in the class of 2022.
Tucker Gambrill Tucker Gambrill 5'11" | NA lbs | PG Cullman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 5’11 PG, Cullman: A point guards point guard. He is a floor general with the ability to run offense and score when needed. He is one of those guys who always seems to make the right play. Excited to see his progression throughout the rest of the season into summer ball as he runs with Hawks Elite.
Jamarkus Alexander Jamarkus Alexander 6'2" | NA lbs | CG Midfield | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’3 SF, Midfield: One of the top players on who some consider the #1 team in Class 2A is having a breakout season so far. This rangy wing player is a blur in the open court and is uber aggressive attacking the rim in the half or open court. Averaging almost 16 points and 8 rebounds a game he is looking to lead his Patriots team to Birmingham to knock off JD Davison JD Davison 6'3" | PG Calhoun | 2021 State #10 Nation AL and defending 2A state champ Calhoun.
Cole Millican Cole Millican 6'1" | NA lbs | CG Plainview | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’1 CG, Plainview: “Big bucket Cole” can really score the basketball With several bigtime scoring games this season including 39 when I was able to see him earlier in December. His ability to score in a multitude of ways is fun to watch. He is a knockdown shooter off the catch and is very good at attacking the basket and finishing or getting to the free-throw line.
Josh Price Josh Price 6'1" | NA lbs | PG Sparkman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 5’11 PG, John Paul II: Some may say JP not under the radar, but when you think about it he probably doesn’t get the love he deserves. He is having a great season and has shown an increased ability to score the ball. He has picked up his motor and looks to be playing harder on both ends of the floor. We should see a constant progression going forward as he continues to figure it out.
Landon Jacobs Landon Jacobs 6'6" | NA lbs | SF Sparkman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’5 SF/PF, Madison Academy: This kid does not mind dunking on you and making you the highlight of his mixtape. He has very good hands and finishes very well around the rim. He is improving his ability to play on the wing and handle the ball against pressure in the open court. He has worked on his jump shot but just has the ability to score the basketball. He is also the top rebounder on his squad.
