Continue reading for a look at the 10 newcomers to the 2022 rankings in the state of Idaho.
#14: Brandon Bethel Brandon Bethel 5'11" | PG Mountain Home | 2022 State ID , Mountain Home: Bethel is a great point guard who carries a lot of weight on both ends of the floor for the Tigers. He has a great feel for the game, a high IQ, and the ability to score at will. Brandon would make an excellent point guard at the next level.
#20: Cooper Kesler Cooper Kesler 6'2" | SG Hillcrest | 2022 State ID , Hillcrest: Coper is a knockdown shooter from deep that can get hot in a hurry. He has produced many games with a handful of three’s made, and he is already off to a hot start in the 2020-21 season. Look for Kesler to continue climbing his way up the rankings.
#22: Kyle Schabot Kyle Schabot 6'1" | SG Centennial | 2022 State ID , Centennial: Kyle is a glue-guy for the mighty Patriots on both ends of the floor. He rebounds really well for his size and attacks the glass on both ends, while also being able to knock down the outside jumper and muscle his way to the goal for easy buckets.
#29: Mikey Lloyd Mikey Lloyd 6'4" | SG Jerome | 2022 State ID , Jerome: Lloyd is a solid shooting guard for Jerome and he uses his size to get to the basket with ease and he can also knock down a jumper from deep. On defense, he plays with lots of energy and he is a strong and physical player.
#34: Ryan Payne Ryan Payne 5'10" | SG Pocatello | 2022 State ID , Pocatello: Payne has been on a scoring rampage already in the 2020-21 season and he has been doing so with a variety of shots. He can shoot from well beyond the three-point line, and he also loves to finish at the goal through contact.
#35: Garrett Phippen Garrett Phippen 6'0" | SG Hillcrest | 2022 State ID , Hillcrest: Phippen does a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. He is constantly in passing lanes on defense, and offensively, he is skilled at the basket and loves to use a mid-range jumper.
#41: Wade Zenner Wade Zenner 5'10" | PG Timberline | 2022 State ID , Timberline: Zenner comes from a long line of established players at Timberline and he is a solid ball handler and shooter. One of his greatest strengths is making great passes and reading the defense to set up his teammates for scoring opportunities.
#42: Clay Silva Clay Silva 5'10" | SG Lighthouse Christian | 2022 State ID , Lighthouse Christian: Clay is a great guard for Lighthouse Christian and he contributes mainly through his shooting and scoring ability. He is deadly at the rim and has been improving his accuracy from deep as well.
#44: Cory Cadwell Cory Cadwell 5'11" | PG Boise | 2022 State ID , Boise: Cadwell will look to emerge in the 2020-21 season once the Brave begin conference play. He is a solid ball handler that will help facilitate the offense and make life easier for the rest of the Boise roster.
#53: Tristan Fleming Tristan Fleming 5'9" | PG Eagle | 2022 State ID , Eagle: Fleming is a defensive stopper for the Mustangs and he routinely racks up the steals during games. He has quick hands and long arms that allow him to jam passing lanes while making it tough on offensive opponents.
