<p>Take a look at the latest happenings in the state of North Carolina in this week’s edition of The Wing Man Report. </p>
<h5>Victory Christian Center on the rise</h5>
<p>Victory Christian Center has quite the rotation with [player_tooltip player_id="1103910" first="Lewis" last="Duarte"], [player_tooltip player_id="1028024" first="Demar" last="Anderson"], Tajuan & [player_tooltip player_id="1013056" first="Takai" last="Simpkins"] and Randi Ovalle in their wheelhouse. Duarte is a 6-fot-6 combo guard with a ton of athleticism to his name. He gets after it on the fastbreak and in the halfcourt. Anderson is a combo guard at 6-foot-3 that competes on both ends and sets the tone for his squad. He’s got a strong frame and good instincts with the ball in his hands. Ovalle is a long forward prospect at 6-foot-8 that’s a double-double machine and big presence in the post. [player_tooltip player_id="1013055" first="Tajuan" last="Simpkins"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1013056" first="Takai" last="Simpkins"] are recent transfers from Brooklyn who have tons of burst with the ball in their hands and attack the rim with authority using their athleticism. At 8-1 on the season, they’re definitely a team college coaches want to get eyes on. 6-foot-9 forward <strong>Deiman Reyes</strong>, a recent transfer from Sunrise Christian Academy will be another name to watch too.</p>
<h5>Cape Fear Christian Academy looking good</h5>
<p>Cape Fear Christian Academy is another squad to keep an eye on at 9-2 on the season. [player_tooltip player_id="747011" first="Jabare" last="Perry"], [player_tooltip player_id="787670" first="Amari" last="Pearson"], [player_tooltip player_id="848069" first="Cinque" last="Lemon"] and [player_tooltip player_id="848090" first="Tristan" last="Harkins"] are a few names to know in their rotation. Perry is putting up 19.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game this season in the paint. Pearson and Lemon are two high-flyers that bring the house down with their athleticism. Harkins is the newest addition and has the ability to play either guard spot and defend at a high level. Get a good look at them if you haven’t already.</p>
<h5>Cary Academy continues to roll</h5>
<p>Cary Academy’s undefeated season continues as they are 6-0 on the season under first-year head coach Ishua Benjamin. They’re led by [player_tooltip player_id="1046669" first="Chase" last="Dawson"] who is averaging 28.8 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 3.5 apg and 3.5 spg on the season as the main catalyst for his squad. He’s also shooting 49 percent from 3-point range. [player_tooltip player_id="1039322" first="Keshawn" last="Brown"] is behind him producing 17.2 ppg, 3.8 apg, 2.7 spg and 3.0 rpg. They’ve been a terror to opposing backcourts all season long. Sean Sheridan is averaging 10.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg while shooting 46 percent from behind the arc. </p>
