Presents For College Coaches – Part 2
Chris Cayton Chris Cayton 5'11" | PG Ann Arbor Skyline | 2021 State MI (2021, PG, Ann Arbor Skyline)
It’s been nice to see Cayton pick up some offers lately, because he’s deserved it for a long time. He can flat out lead from the point. He’s a more than dependable ball handler that break pressure on his own. Cayton can be trusted with the ball in his hands in late game situations.
Will Smythe Will Smythe 6'4" | SG Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2021 State MI (2021, SG, Orchard Lake St, Mary’s)
Smythe has absolutely huge summer and fall. He sent a message to scouts and college coaches, and his message was loud and clear. Smythe is, without a doubt, one of the best all around shooters in the state. His stock has risen by a ton over the last few months.
Orlando Lovejoy Orlando Lovejoy 6'3" | CG 1 of 1 Prep | 2022 State NC (2022, PG, Summit Academy)
Lovejoy is a big time talent. He’s so explosive with the ball in his hands. He can start and stop, and go with either hand. In my opinion, he’s one of the most exciting perimeter players in Michigan. Lovejoy can break down almost any defender in a 1-on-1 situation.
Kobe Haglund Kobe Haglund 6'3" | PG West Ottawa | 2022 State MI (2022, PG, West Ottawa)
Haglund saw his game really stand out last high school season, and all the way through grassroots season. His offensive game and ability to get buckets has grown exponentially over the last year. Haglund has a lot of exciting basketball ahead of him.
Tyran Thomas Tyran Thomas 6'4" | SG Northview | 2023 State MI (2023, SG, Northview)
Thomas really unleashed his potential during grassroots and showcase seasons. He’s a terrific athlete that doesn’t stay glued to the floor. Thomas is bouncy and active under the rim, which creates more scoring opportunities.
Sonny Wilson Sonny Wilson 6'0" | PG UD Jesuit | 2023 State #189 Nation MI (2023, PG, UD Jesuit)
Wilson gets the ball up the court quickly, using both his handles and the pass to advance it. The ball doesn’t stick to his hands, as he makes quick decisions and keeps the ball moving. In my opinion, Wilson has a very high ceiling.
