Dec 18-20 Weekend Wonders

<p><i>It’s time for another installment of weekend wonders! Friday &amp; Saturday has featured a nice amount of talented prospects that are taking advantage of playing opportunities! Big time scoring performances, poster dunks, game changing blocks and much more has all been seen this weekend</i>! <br /> <br /> Moravian Prep Senior Wing <b>BJ Freeman</b> is still available and continues to showcase his ability to score the ball at a high level.  On Friday night he went for a game high of 29 Points and followed that performance with a team high of 26 points on Saturday. MM &amp; HM programs have shown interest in Freeman due to his size at 6’6 and the ability he has to score at a high level.</p> <p>Word of God Junior Guard<b> Po King</b> has to be mentioned when you when you talk about some of the best shooters in the state. He has deep range on his shot and does a nice job of being ready to shoot prior to getting the ball, which helps him to get his shot off quickly.</p> <p>Cape Fear Christian Junior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="848069" first="Cinque" last="Lemon"]</b> has taken on the role as the “go to guy” for CFCA this season and he has not disappointed. Making athletic plays above the rim, knocking down the midrange shot and making plays on defense are all things you will see from him. D1 programs are already offering and we have no doubt that his stock will continue to rise. </p> <p>There is plenty to like about BullCity Prep Junior 6’7 Wing <b>[player_tooltip player_id="838035" first="Treyvon" last="Byrd"]</b>, who led his team to a win with 18 Points. Good height and wingspan as well as versatility on both ends of the floor are all things that have college coaches very interested.</p> <p>Piedmont Classical Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1006288" first="Lamont" last="McNeill Jr"]</b> is a solid player that can play both ends of the floor. He’s is constantly on the attack offensively and applying a nice amount of pressure on the defensive side of the ball.</p> <p>Carmel Christian Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="574430" first="Justin" last="Taylor"] </b>put together one of the more impressive stat lines that we have seen from a PG this season, finishing with 19 Points &amp; 11 Assist in a win. He has a quick first step and does a nice job of making the right decision after getting by the initial defender.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
