Predictions:

Sumter HS – The Gamecocks have a lot of bodies to throw out on the floor for Head Coach Bryan Brown.

Carolina Forest HS – The Panthers look to have a solid senior class in order to make a run this season.

St James HS – The Sharks will surprise some teams on given nights.

Conway HS – The Tigers are loaded with underclassmen on the roster for Head Coach Mike Hopkins.

Socastee HS – Does Mike Herrin Mike Herrin 6'4" | CG Socastee | 2021 State SC have enough support to help the Braves make some moves ?

Players to Watch in the Region:

Corbin Pack Corbin Pack 6'5" | SF Carolina Forest | 2021 State SC (2021) – Carolina Forest HS

Pack is a SHOOTER out on the perimeter for the Panthers. Pack has good size to play at the 2/3 spot on the floor.

Kyle Watkins Kyle Watkins 6'0" | PG Carolina Forest | 2021 State SC (2021) – Carolina Forest HS

Watkins just came off having a great football season for the Panthers as a Quarterback. Watkins a point guard is a back lead the offense and has the ability to be a natural leader on the hardwood.

Alex Greene Alex Greene 6'0" | SG Carolina Forest | 2021 State SC (2021) – Carolina Forest HS

Greene just like Pack can shoot the ball on the perimeter. Greene is a zone buster for the Panthers with his ability to knockdown shots.

Jeremiah Nesbitt Jeremiah Nesbitt 5'11" | CG St James | 2021 State SC (2021) – St James HS (Murrells Inlet)

Nesbitt plays the game very deliberate and under-control from out top for the Sharks. Nesbitt doesn’t turn the ball and just plays a simple game of basketball.

Mike Herrin Mike Herrin 6'4" | CG Socastee | 2021 State SC (2021) – Socastee HS (Prep Hoops Region Player of the Year)

Herrin a left-handed guard-wing can score the ball. Herrin has range out to the perimeter or has the ability to attack the rim. Herrin has the Braves going in the right direction here early into the season.

Devin Boston Devin Boston 6'4" | PF Sumter | 2021 State SC (2021) – Sumter HS

Boston a long rangy combo forward is one of the senior leaders on this Gamecocks roster.

Marcus Lane Marcus Lane 5'9" | PG Sumter | 2021 State SC (2021) – Sumter HS

Lane is a water-bug point guard for the Gamecocks and just recently joined the team after playing football. Lane recorded 35 receptions this season on the football as a wideout.
