Top Performers:
Donovan Black Donovan Black 6'6" | PF Del Valle | 2023 State TX -6’5 SF ( D1 New Mexico) Featured
Donovan was solid and produced points when his team needed him to. He was very strong on the pick and roll and handled the ball well in transition. He was powerful around the rim and had some very big dunks. D1 New Mexico played some very tough post grad teams and Donovan was a beast in those games. Donovan continues to get stronger every time I see him compete.
Sterling Knox 6’4 SF (Purple Reign)
Knox is one of the most impressive players I have seen. He was extremely hard to guard and managed to get open non stop. He was consistent the entire weekend. Knox shot the ball extremely well. He was an absolutely lights out shooter. The Purple Reign team was difficult all weekend and Knox showed why he is an elite athlete and one of the best shooters in Nevada.
Judah Casaus Judah Casaus 6'0" | SG Del Norte | 2023 State NM 5’11 PG (D1 New Mexico)
Judah was a terror this weekend. I was extremely impressed to watch him and Gideon Harris Gideon Harris 6'2" | SF ABC Prep | 2023 State NM compete at such a high level. Judah handled the ball well and did a great job being a leader for his teammates. The post grad game against TMP was insane.Judah had a huge block which left people in awe. He shot the ball effectively and ball handled at a higher level. I saw serious college potential in his play.
Gideon Harris Gideon Harris 6'2" | SF ABC Prep | 2023 State NM 5’11 PG (D1 New Mexico)
Another impressive D1 New Mexico player. Gideon did a great job grabbing loose balls around the rim and managed to dribble through multiple defenders. He shot the ball at a high consistency and defended extremely well. He absolutely killed it during his last post grad game. He was an aggressive force who never backed down from a much larger, older and faster opponent.
Sebastian Mack 6’1 CG (Purple Reign)
I could easily see why Mack is top of his class and top 100 in the country. He is an elite scorer who can get a bucket for his team at will. He is super shifty and very hard to guard. He handles screens very well and reads the defense at a high level. Mack was one of the top scorers of the weekend.
