Both players for Herriman have been contributors for Herriman for sometime now. The difference this year is that it’s there team and they’re sharing the basketball, as a result they are also getting the ball back in rhythm. Race and Bodi are able to stretch the floor and they are hard to shut down. It seems as if they will both score regardless of defensive schemes. This duo lights it up for 38 points a game. They play with great pace, look fo them to be. reason they start getting it going and upset a team or two.
Skyridge High School
Duncan Reid Duncan Reid 6'4" | SG Skyridge | 2021 State UT & Nick Holland Nick Holland 5'11" | PG Skyridge | 2022 State UT
This duo pumps out 37 points a game and they do it any which way they can. Duncan is a 3 point expert but he finds ways to score all over the floor. Nick has been a pleasant surprise for a lot of onlookers but he is almost putting up 18 points a game. Skyridge has some great guard play that just puts pressure on a lot of defenses. Duncan and Nick sure get them going.
Corner Canyon High School
Trace Ross Trace Ross 6'3" | PG Corner Canyon | 2021 State UT & Carter Welling Carter Welling 6'10" | PF Corner Canyon | 2021 State UT
One of the most fun do’s to watch because they go inside and out. 36 point per game between the both of them. It is a real treat to see them in a two man game as well. Carter runs the floor well and seems to always find seems in the defense that lead to transition dunks. Trace often requires extra help that leads to Carter just getting up and finishing above the rim.
Dixie High School
Isaac Finlinson Isaac Finlinson 6'6" | CG Dixie | 2021 State UT & Ethan Bennett Ethan Bennett 6'0" | CG Dixie | 2021 State UT
Over 40 points a game for this duo and a solid schedule and wins to back it. They’re not playing any cupcake teams either they’re playing some top high elevel competition. Isaac is averaging over 25 a game. The most impressive part is that he is rebounding and dishing the ball. Ethan has really stepped up his offensive game and this duo makes this team go.
Cyprus High School
Quentin Meza Quentin Meza 6'0" | PG Cyprus | 2023 State UT & Diego Mulford Diego Mulford 5'10" | PG American Fork | 2024 State UT
The youngest duo in the state and maybe one of the smalles, but these kids can ball. They can score in a hurry, in a flurry or whatever you want they can do. Quentin is once again proving he is one of the most elite scorers in the state. Diego is coming in as a freshman to watch and teams are starting to take notice. They put up 35 points a game. They’ve been playing against some good teams and will continue that trend.
Draper APA High School
Lucas Basikalo & Tyson Chow
This pair of 6’5 athletes have been a handful for almost every team they have faces this year. The duo averages over 33 points a game. These two small school prospects are great candidates for a small NWAC that is looking to players the can do a lot. Tyson is also averaging 10 rebounds a game.
Lehi High School
Peter Amakasu Peter Amakasu 6'4" | CG Lehi | 2021 State UT & Noa Gonsalves Noa Gonsalves 6'2" | PG Lehi | 2021 State UT
This duo is dynamic and explosive. Either one of them can go off for 20+, but they let the game come to them which is often unseen. They do not force a lot of shots and tehy are not motion stoppers by holding the ball. They play well together and they are very patient. This duo pumps out 35 points a game and they are the reason Lehi is a dangerous team to play regardless of classification.
