<p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>Week 2 of Texas high school basketball was jammed packed with action and thrilling games that went all the way down to the wire. Here are just a few of the most outstanding shooting performances I watched during the second week of the season.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Frisco Wakeland 63 vs JJ Pearce 44</span> </strong></em></p>

<p style="text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Sharpshooter, [player_tooltip player_id="887085" first="Cooper" last="Sisco"] is one of the most prolific shooters in the metroplex. He had a h<span style="font-size: 1rem;">ighly efficient night against JJ Pearce, he was absolutely lethal from every spot on the floor, especially </span></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">when he was able to get to his spots in the mid-range</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">. Seriously, this young baller was making </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">everything no matter how tight he was defended, even knocking down a turnaround corner 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the third quarter. Phenomenal</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> shooting fundamentals and shooting touch, when Sisco had a clean look he would gently kiss the ball right off the glass into the net. Cooper also m</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">oved very well without the ball and was very smooth with the ball, using</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> hesitation and spins move to create space and get his man off balance. He was the m</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ain reason Wakeland started to take off in the second-half, not only because of his jump shooting but his dribble penetration as well, he didn’t shy away from contact either, in fact, he scored and prospered through it. <p style="text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Senior shooting guard, Caleb Hart, is a 6’1, 3-point assassin. He’s coming off a game where he scored </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">15 points, all from way beyond the arc, going</span> 5-8 from 3-point range. <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">A p</span>henomenal jump shooter that was insanely hot in this game. It’s always amazing watching a guy shoot the lights out with such great concentration and consistency. Hart displayed textbook mechanics, perfect elevation, balance, and release. <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">His stroke was very consistent every shot he took looked the same as the one before. He also showed an i</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">mpressive ability to get the ball off his hands in a blink of an eye and he did it effortlessly. Caleb Hart must be accounted for at all times or he will make you pay. </span></p>
<p><strong><em><span style="font-size: 14pt;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Grace Prep 77 vs Grapevine Faith 67</span></em></strong></p>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><em><strong>Ajani Jamison - Small Forward - Grace Prep - 2021</strong></em></span></p>
<p style="padding-left: 40px;"><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Ajani Jamison caught fire, started to let it fly from deep, and it paid off tremendously, going </span>3-5 from beyond the arc, knocking down multiple 3-pointers in a single half to help stretch the lead over Grapevine Faith. Jamison also showed college range on his catch-and-shoot opportunities. <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Good high elevation and release point, </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">he holds his follow-through till he sees the ball touch net. Ajani Jamison looked like he could really be a threat from 3-point range when he’s shooting and catching the ball in rhythm. </span></p>
