In the month of November we have seen quite a few players make college choices, so let’s jump right in and take a look at which prospects have announced their college choices as well as players that have picked up offers recently.
The Burlington School Senior Forward Kuluel Mading Kuluel Mading 6'10" | C The Burlington School | 2021 State NC will be taking his talents to Howard University, becoming one of the higher ranked prospects to commit to the program. Mading is a player that’s talented with plenty of upside, he’s 6’9 with a long wingspan, can shoot the trey ball and runs the floor well which allows him to play as a stretch forward or in the post.
Eastern Guilford Senior Guard Kadyn Dawkins Kadyn Dawkins 5'9" | CG Eastern Guilford | 2021 State NC will stay in NC to play college basketball as he made the decision to attend Mars Hill College. Dawkins is a smaller guard in stature but he plays the game with a chip on his shoulder and can absolutely fill it up scoring wise. He’s had plenty of showings where he has gone for big time scoring numbers but he understands how to get others involved as well.
Trinity Christian Junior Guard Freddie Dilione Freddie Dilione 6'6" | SG Word of God | 2023 #37 Nation NC is a prospect that is currently seeing a rise in his stock, recently adding an offer from Penn State University. Dilione has played varsity basketball since he was an 8th grader so he’s had plenty of experience playing in tough environments against outstanding competition. This season he has hit the ground running and will be a player that the Crusaders will need consistent production from if they hope to win a state championship.
The Burlington School Senior Point Guard Jamarii Thomas Jamarii Thomas 6'1" | PG The Burlington School | 2021 State NC is one of the top unsigned Senior Guards in the state and he’s continuing to showcase his ability during his high school teams season. Thomas recently picked up scholarship offers from North Carolina A&T and Eastern Kentucky, he also has interest from quite a few programs on the D1 & D2 level. Thomas is a strong guard with a nice overall skillset and a high IQ for the game.
Winston Salem Christian & Arguably the top prospect in NC for the class of 2022 Forward Brandon White Brandon White 6'10" | PF Donda Academy | 2023 #146 Nation NC continues to see his stock rise. A double digit threat on a nightly basis, he’s started off the season playing at a very high level and Maryland is the most recent school to extend an offer to him.
