He is one of the best two-way players in the entire state of Georgia.

With a broken leg now in his rear view, Corey Thomas Corey Thomas 6'9" | PF Cherokee Bluff | 2021 State GA is back to being a dominant force in the paint. With 21 points, 16 rebounds and 6 blocks in a win over Mill Creek, Thomas is a name that D-I schools must track. Blessed with length and a soft touch, Thomas runs the floor exceptionally well and can even stretch defenses out to the three-point line.
2021 6-6 C Nicholas Verlander – Holy Innocents’
Every good team needs steady role players and glue guys. Nicholas Verlander is just that. Standing 6-foot-6, in Class A-Private to most schools he is considered a giant and on a team that is starved for size, Verlander is a crucial cog. He played well vs. White County. He scored up close when opportunities presented themselves, he rebounded and he blocked shots. With 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks, that’s the type of production Coach Mario Mays would welcome in a heartbeat on a night to night basis.
