Below is a list of sophomores I watched:
Sean Alter – 6’8 Volcano Vista
Although, Sean Alter is a bit undersized for a college power forward I believe he will one day be one of the top big men in New Mexico. This kid is super crafty and can finish above the rim with ease. Sean has a good right and left hook shot and shoots the ball well within the perimeter. He has good motor and can play both sides very efficient. This kid has some good bounce. In fact, he won the slam dunk championship at the event. Shane Sanchez Douma – 5’11 Del Norte
Shane Douma is New Mexico’s former freshman player of the year,. He is an electric fast paced point guard who has a high level shooting ability. This kid is a worker on both sides of the floor. He plays great defense and works hard to get rebounds. He is everywhere on the floor and excels at fast break points. Shane is definitely moving in the right direction. He is gaining more and more attention from college coaches.

Dominic Dix – 6’6 Volcano Vista
This kid is an elite athlete. He has a very high motor and plays both ends of the floor efficiently. A decent defender and shoots the ball well. Dominic Dix is still a bit raw but in time could be very special.
Davion Smith – 6’3 Alamogordo
Davion Smith impressed me during the showcase. He has a good complete game, shooting the ball well and getting some wide open looks. His quickness allows him to play defense well and finish at the rim nicely. This kid is moving in the right direction and should turn heads soon.
