Below is a list of freshman I watched:
Amari Brown – 6’2 Cibola
Amari Brown is still 14 years old but plays with a high IQ. He can play both sides of the court well and has explosive speed. Amari is that kid that coaches want in clutch moments because you can put the ball in his hands and he will figure out a way to give you a bucket. He has a nice mid range game but his true strength is in his slashing ability to get to the basket.
Marcus Wilson – 6’2 Cibola
Marcus Wilson can do it all. He is a great ball handler that can pass and find the open guys on the court with ease. He is very athletic and has great slashing ability if you give him space. He shoots the ball well and has a great release on his jumper. What makes Marcus special is his ability to play both sides of the court well. He is an incredible defender who has quick hands and feet. Marcus Wilson has a terrific upside that colleges coaches will be watching.
Brandon Kehres – 6’4 Onate
Brandon Kehres has a nice sized body and is very athletic. He has a very high ceiling and is a gritty player. This kid can rebound, play defense and get to the hole. He has a good feel for the game and can literally do it all. He is your perfect glue guy.
Mike Knaub – 6’6 Eldorado
A very skilled and athletic player who can play both sides of the court. He has serious shot blocking potential and in time can become a serious threat on defense. He has the ability to get to take the ball strong to the basket. A majority of Mike Knaub’s points come from the perimeter but he can shoot the long ball effeciently. Coaches will like this kid because he has a major upside and high IQ.
