Rankings Update: 2022 Stock Risers

<p>With the PrpeHoops Alabama releasing its 2022 rankings earlier this week it was a lot of movement all throughout the rankings. Some guys made significant jumps with their play over the abbreviated and modified travel ball schedule.</p> <p>Below is a group of guys who made significant gains in their ranking and also their overall games.</p> <p><a class="d-flex align-items-center" href="https://prephoops.com/player/rylan-houck/">[player_tooltip player_id="1066038" first="Rylan" last="Houck"], 6’4 SF, Oxford: This uber athletic wing blew up over the COVID travel season with ProOne Select. His ability to attack the glass and finish over the top of defenders was elite. His improved ability to shoot the ball from deep and show an efficient in-between game has really boosted his stock. His physical ability and willingness to defend should only help continue to improve his recruitment.</a></p> <p><a class="d-flex align-items-center" href="https://prephoops.com/player/jordan-frazier/">[player_tooltip player_id="725154" first="Jordan" last="Frazier"], 6’4 SG, James Clemens: Another kid that blew up over the travel ball season with his ability to flat out shoot the basketball. He has good length at the shooting guard position and plenty of space to fill on his now slight frame. He has very good speed on the wing in the open floor and a quick first step once he catches in transition. He finishes very well through contact and shows constant flashes of why High Majors have already given official offers. </a></p> <p><a class="d-flex align-items-center" href="https://prephoops.com/player/dresean-knight/">[player_tooltip player_id="890743" first="Dresean" last="Knight"], 6’10 C, Minor: A refreshing sight once you see this back to the basket big man play. Now don't let the terminology used make you place this guy in a box as he is developing into a legit complete post scorer. He does have a good face-up game but his bread is buttered with his ability to affect the defensive side of the floor. He has great timing on challenging shots at the basket and making defenders think twice when attacking the painted area. He has good feet which allows him to be an effective pick and roll defender. Plenty of potential packed into this mountain of a prospect.</a></p> <p><a class="d-flex align-items-center" href="https://prephoops.com/player/jalen-coleman/">[player_tooltip player_id="802668" first="Jalen" last="Coleman"], 5’10 PG, Eufala: A knockdown shooter who showed improved poise and control at the point guard position. His improved passing ability to where he was getting teammates the ball in positions where they could be successful was on display on summer long. He also showed he could play off the ball and still be effective when there is another ball-dominant player on the floor. Look for those pg skills to be on full display when the school season cranks up.</a></p> <p><a class="d-flex align-items-center" href="https://prephoops.com/player/haston-alexander/">[player_tooltip player_id="1044908" first="Haston" last="Alexander"], 6’10 C, Covenant Christian: The big lefty has shown major improvement over the last several months. He has shown the ability to stretch the defense on the offensive end of the floor and much improved athletic ability on both ends. His improved lateral movement and understanding of his size and space have really made him a legit next-level prospect. Looking for even more improvement when next travel ball season rolls around next year.</a></p>
