Here is what I think the bottom half of the top ten may look like.
No. 6
Knute Wood Knute Wood 6'4" | NA lbs | SG Brooks | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’4 SG, Brooks: His has great size for his skillset and is one of the deadliest if not the deadliest shooters in the class. He can do it off the catch or dribble with parking lot range. His added and continued ability to put the ball on the floor has really made him one of the more complete offensive layers in the class.
No. 7
Dresean Knight Dresean Knight 6'9" | NA lbs | C Minor | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’10 C, Minor: This prospect is a breath of fresh air when u see his attributes on paper and walk in the gym and see he is a traditional big man, not a 6’10 guy who lives on the perimeter. He is a low post scoring threat and is a terror on the defensive end blocking, changing, and altering shots all while gobbling up defensive rebounds. Look for his recruitment to continue to skyrocket as his value continues to show.
No. 8
Calen Lightford Calen Lightford 5'11" | NA lbs | PG Sparkman | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 5’11 PG, Sparkman: Nothing like a knockdown shooter. With Tyrese Elliott transferring out its Calen’s show at the point guard position this season at Sparkman. Looking to see real growth as the workload increases this season as the primary ball-handler and scorer. But if his spring and summer with ProOne was any indication on how this winter will go look for some really big numbers coming from this highly touted prospect.
No. 9
Jonathan Murray Jonathan Murray 6'7" | NA lbs | SF Huffman | 2022 #NA Nation AL , 6’7 SF, Huffman: Last I got a chance to really see this kid play was in the 6A State Championship game where he showed why he was considered a top 10 prospect. Anxious to see how he has developed once he steps back on to the hardwood from the gridiron.
No. 10
Jordan Frazier Jordan Frazier 6'4" | NA lbs | SG James Clemens | 2022 State #NA Nation AL , 6’4 SG, James Clemens: This kid blew up this spring and summer picking up major offers from the likes of UGA and Alabama State just to name a few. His length on the wing along with that deadly shooting stroke was on full display with the ProOne Select team all spring and summer long. Look for an even bigger junior season from this breakout prospect.
