SubscribeWith the possibility of things looking up for basketball being played sooner then later, these 5 guys should benefit greatly.
Milan Johnson. 5”11. 2021. Baldwin HS
A deep threat. Unlimited range. But also a crafty player weaving his way to the hoop. Scores in a variety of ways at all three levels. A transfer to Baldwin this season should be a welcomed addition.
Jasigha Barnes. 6”2. 2021 Baldwin HS
Another transfer to Baldwin. Jasigha can flat out score. Scores in bunches. Should elevate his game even more this year with all the talent around him and their pace of play.
Keysean Maynard. 6”0. 2022. St. Francis Prep HS
Really quick first step. Can really shoot it as well. The comsumate point guard who knows when to get his buckets or get his teammates involved. Should be a major piece for this very talented Chsaa team from Queens.
Ryan Williams. 6”4. 2022 St. John the Baptist HS
High IQ player. Very athletic player. A tremendous shooter. Uses his body well to score at the rim. A lot of D2 interest as well as MAAC and NEC schools.
Justin Ruffillo. 6”2 2022 St. John the Baptist HS
Multidimensional player. Excellent skillset. Very good at pushing the pace while still under control. Combines a nice mid-range game with the ability to attack the basket. Very good defender.
Taylor Perlmutter. 6”1. 2023. Lasalle Academy HS
With some changes to the roster at Lasalle, Taylor will get more of an expanded role quickly. He should be ready from his experience playing with the Riverside Hawk aau program. Can get to the basket and score with either hand. A point guard who just makes winning plays. Has good court vision. A consistent 3 point shooter but also can get the defense on it’s heels and pop the pull up jumper.
