Aaron Goldstein 5’11. 2023. Xaverian HS
Very high skill set. Plays with a real passion for the game. Really good range. Should see his game improve each day as he will be up against two of the best guards in the city every day at practice. This will help him with his defense.
Thomas Whelan 6’2. 2022 Fordham Prep HS
Injuries have cost him time. Would have made team last year. His first game was in the playoffs. He showed his ability quick, hitting 2 threes and ending with 10 points. Can create his own shot but also gets to the rim. Needs to gain some game experience but has all the tools to be successful.
Josh Pascarelli 6’2. 2023. St. Francis Prep HS
Does everything well. Can score at all three levels. High IQ and good court awareness. Needs to rebound a little better and positioning himself.
Michael Walker 6’7. 2023. Xaverian HS
Great work ethic. Can score around the rim. Big body player uses it well. Becoming more athletic should come as he gets more comfortable with his big frame.
Maxwell Hooper 6’2. 2022. St. Edmunds HS
Very bright player. A long, lanky strong athletic young man. Really good at getting to the basket and finishing. Slasher type player. Working on his perimeter shooting.
Spencer Mahoney 6’8. 2023. Iona Prep HS
Possesses a good handle for a big man. Excellent skill set. Consistently, can step out and hit the three. Needs to add some strength.
Bengaly Berete 6’4. 2023. Iona Prep HS
Uses his length well to get rebounds. High motor player. Tremendous upside. His game continues to develop. Can finish at the rim. Needs to be a little more consistent with his shot. Gaining more experience will help with that.
Kelvin Collado 6’5 2023. Mount St. Michael HS
Solid defender. Very athletic. Strong rebounder. Need to finish around the rim more consistency. Which should come as he gains game experience.
Zachary Hirschman. 5’11. 2022 McClancy HS
Explosive first step. Excellent mid-range game. Very tenacious defender. Really good on the ball. Disrupts offenses. Needs to improve with his off hand .
