2022 Rankings: Newcomers

<p>There are some very talented players making their first appearance on our updated Michigan class of 2022 prospect rankings.</p> <p>https://prephoops.com/michigan/rankings/2022-rankings/</p> <p>Here are some of those players:</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068123" first="Evan" last="Solomon"] (6-3, PG, Charlevoix)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #85</p> <p>Solomon quite honestly should have been on the list a while ago. He has good positional size and is incredibly efficient with the ball. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1067873" first="Derek" last="Bolton III"] (6-4, CG, Detroit Cristo Rey)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #104</p> <p>Bolton III is a smooth perimeter player that was bolstered by a strong Top 250 performance. He can play on or off the ball.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068138" first="Benjamin" last="McCaskill"] (6-1, CG, Cranbrook Kingswood)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #107</p> <p>There were rumors going around about this young man taking his game to a new level. At the Top 250, he made it clear that those rumors were indeed true. He should translate to the point at the next level.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068264" first="Dylan" last="Cragg"] (6-4, SG, Grayling)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #122</p> <p>Cragg is another player that should have seen this list before. In our defense, his game has really taken off recently. He’s a solid shooter that moves well without the ball.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068155" first="Tremon" last="Norris"] (6-10, C, Ypsi Prep)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #142</p> <p>Norris is a 6-10 ball of potential. It’ll be interesting to see how his game develops playing against the best of the best every day in practice. Norris has shown signs of greatness on the defensive end.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068151" first="Elisha" last="Warren"] (6-0, PG, Woodhaven)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #145</p> <p>Remember this name. He’s been under rated for far too long now. Warren is quick up and down the floor and seems to be able to manufacture buckets.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068154" first="Reem" last="Rashed"] (6-9, PF, Detroit Country Day)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #146</p> <p>Rashed is an up and coming post player in the state and a player that could rise even higher as high school season plays out. He moves well for his size and is a long defender.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068150" first="Omari" last="Byrd"] (6-5, C, Arbor Prep)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #148</p> <p>Byrd could be very critical to the success of Arbor Prep next season. He can be that anchor in the post. He’s a tough athlete that can play bigger than his height.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1068143" first="Aaron" last="Waldron"] (6-2, SG, Detroit King)</strong></p> <p>Waldron is another prospect that could rise up the rankings during high school season. He’s a solid ball handler that can create off the dribble. Waldron is a real weapon when fed the ball in stride.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
