We will be breaking down each conference starting with the Class of 2021 first to show college coaches who they need to be placing a value on heading into the year.
We will continue to go through each conference to try and hit as many players as possible with the hopes of helping these seniors-to-be catch the attention of prospective college coaches.
Eli Hibma Eli Hibma 6'3" | SF Sioux Center | 2021 State IA – Sioux Center
Sioux Center gained some momentum late in the season, finishing with eight wins. They will also benefit from the return of leading scorer Eli Hibma Eli Hibma 6'3" | SF Sioux Center | 2021 State IA .
Hibma, a 2021 prospect, averaged 13.6 points per game on almost 42 percent shooting from the floor. He finished with 313 points in all for the Warriors, adding 101 rebounds, 51 assists and 33 steals.
From the three-point line, Hibma was effective, sinking 34.5 percent with 40 made triples. He also converted almost 74 percent of his free throw attempts.
Alex Godfredsen – Rock Valley
Last year, Rock Valley posted a winning record, finishing 15-8, including a 5-1 record in its final six games.
Class of 2021 prospect Alex Godfredsen led the team in scoring, posting 307 points and averaging just over 13 a night. She shot 52.5 percent from the field, 45.3 percent from the three-point line and over 73 percent at the charity stripe.
Godfredsen helped the Rockets finish third in the Siouxland Conference, adding 123 rebounds, 32 assists and 25 steals to his season.
Tye Sudbeck Tye Sudbeck 5'11" | SG Sheldon | 2021 State IA – Sheldon
As a junior, Tye Sudbeck Tye Sudbeck 5'11" | SG Sheldon | 2021 State IA did a little bit of everything for Sheldon.
Sudbeeck scored 303 points in 23 games, adding 66 rebounds, 28 steals, 21 assists and even six blocked shots. He made a team-high 60 three-pointers, shooting almost 40 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep for the Orabs.
Carter Brouwer – Sibley-Ocheyedan
It was a tough year for Sibley-Ocheyedan, but the Generals will hope for better results behind Carter Brouwer and others.
Brouwer led the team in scoring and rebounding as a junior, posting 13 points and 5.5 boards a night. The Class of 2021 player shot almost 36 percent from the field and 30 percent from deep, while also knocking down 80 percent of his free throws.
In all, Brouwer scored 291 points with 120 rebounds, 32 assists, 20 steals and 13 blocks for Sibley-Ocheyedan.
Marcus Kelderman Marcus Kelderman 6'1" | SG Boyden-Hull | 2021 State IA – Boyden-Hull
It was another banner year for Boyden-Hull, cutting down the nets in Class 2A as state champions after besting North Linn.
The Comets have some key pieces back in the fold this coming year including Class of 2021’s Marcus Kelderman Marcus Kelderman 6'1" | SG Boyden-Hull | 2021 State IA , who posted 278 points on 48 percent shooting with 39 made three-pointers.
Kelderman also had 83 rebounds, 42 assists and 24 steals.
